The day had come.
Today was Rudolph and Zoey's wedding day.
Zoey was with her two friends getting ready.
"Zoey, aren't you excited? Today you'll become the happiest doe!" said Sara, one of her friends, in a sing-song voice as she applied Zoey's makeup.
"Of course I'm excited." Zoey reassured her. "I'm just a little nervous, that's all."
Her other friend, Jodie, was trying to ease things for her. "It's okay, Zoey. I was nervous when I got married."
"I know," Zoey said, "but this is different. I'm about to marry the greatest and most handsome flier. And I just feel like I'm the one whose making him feel nervous."
But Rudolph himself was having issues of his own.
Slyly and Leonard were helping him.
"Why am I so worried?" Rudolph asked. "This should be the happiest moment of my life."
Leonard was fixing Rudolph's collar. "Don't worry, lil' buddy. Everyone's nervous. Just wait. Soon, you'll be living happily ever after."
"But what about Zoey?" Rudolph asked him. "I just want this to be the happiest day in her life."
"Heya Red," said Slyly, "stay still, will ya? I'm trying to fix your hair. Don't break my concentration."
"Sorry." Rudolph said.
"Oh, hakuna matata, kid." Slyly said, translating "no worries" into Swahili as he pulled Rudolph's hair back into a pompadour.
(A/N: Slyly had been watching The Lion King)
"I guess you guys are right," Rudolph said, "I'm probably being too anxious."
Then it was time.
Rudolph stood in his position. Arrow was next to him.
"Hey, Rudy," he whispered, "you're sweating."
"I know, Arrow," Rudolph said, "just a little nervous."
"Don't worry." Arrow said. "You're going to remember this day as you look through the scrapbook."
Rudolph smiled.
Then, The piano began playing "Here Comes the Bride."
Zoey came down the aisle with her collar and makeup. When she saw Rudolph, the only thing going through her head was about how handsome he looked.
"She looks like an angel." Rudolph thought.
As Zoey stood before him, Rudolph's heart was beating rapidly.
They went through the vows.
"Do you, Rudolph," said the elf priest, "take Zoey to be your doe?"
"I do."
"And do you, Zoey, take Rudolph to be your buck?"
"I do."
"I now pronounce you buck and doe." said the priest. "You may kiss."
And the two leaned in and kissed.
The crowd cheered.
"Hey, Slyly," said Arrow, "are you crying?"
"No," Slyly broke, "I just got something in my eye." He blew his nose.
As the newlyweds walked down the aisle, happy as could be, Rudolph kissed Zoey once again.
"I love you, Zoey."
I love you too, Rudolph."
They climbed into the sleigh.
"Be safe!" Stormella cried, tears streaking down her face. "Have a wonderful honeymoon!"
The crowd waved as the sleigh went off into the distance, it's "Just Married" banner flying in the wind.
