When you're you, it's fate that makes people laugh at you. That's just how it is. There's nothing you can do about it. The only way you can cope is to laugh at yourself.

Slowly, you lose your own sense of self worth. Slowly, you stop laughing. When you tell people to stop, they say that "You're laughing with us. Doesn't that make everything okay?"

It reaches the point where you ask for help. If they can't help you, who can? Of they won't help you, who will?

You ask them for help and they think you're joking because of the smile on your face. They can't tell the difference between a real and fake smile. You can't either.

You try to speak up for yourself. Everyone's always telling you to do that. No one listens. The people you thought could help join in. They revel in your feelings of helplessness. There's nothing you can do to help yourself. Their hearts are made of stone.

Slowly, you lose all sense of direction. Slowly, you lose all sense of purpose. If you can't count on people to help you, who could you trust? If no one can help you when you ask for help, how do you learn to help yourself?

When you're you, people laugh at you. That's fate. That's just how it is. There's nothing you can do about it. There's no way to cope. You're on your own. There's no escape.
