A/N: OK so i know this isn't the best but i had this really good flash for an idea and i had to post it i hope you like.
Time is a funny thing. Always moving never stopping. Yet sometimes an event from the past can mix with the present. And sometimes it will change a persons life, forever.
The world seemed to shift for a second as a girl sat with her head in her arms alone in a secluded part of the library were most people don't go. Some unwanted tears leaking out.
"I've never seen you here before?" A boys voice said she peered up out of her arms some tears still in her arms. A boy stood there, he was wearing Gryffindor robes but she had never seen him before.
"What's your name?" he asked as he sat down at the table in a chair opposite to her.
"M-my names kalie," She said wiping away her tears.
"My names Remus, now why were you crying?" he asked her she didn't know anyone named Remus that was in Gryffindor but she shrugged it off.
"No reason," she said knowing that it was a stupid answer to his question. He raised an eyebrow at her answer.
"I have a feeling that there is a reason that your in a secluded spot of the library crying your eyes out." she smiled a bit.
"I learned that my brothers and my mom and dad died in a car crash." she said looking away. She didn't want to see the pity in his eyes.
"Are you ok?" he asked her.
"yeah I'll be fine it'll go away with time…yeah right" she said sighing wiping a few strangling tears.
"You seem strong, I know you will get through it. It may not get easier but you become less sensitive to the pain after a while." She looked at him with wide eyes.
"Really?" he nodded she smiled a bit. She just had to stay strong she couldn't just give up now right? "Thanks Remus" she said picking up her books she had and placing them in her bag.
"Hey Remus I w-" she stopped looking at the entrance to the small library space. He was gone she quickly got up looking around the library. He wasn't there. She blinked. Professor Lupin came into the library and she took a second look he looked just like Remus just older. She quickly rushed out of the library. Could the remus back then really be Professor Lupin now?
She didn't know what had happed but in her mind she thanked Remus where ever he was.
Remus stared at the girl as she hurried out of the library. Even after so many years he still didn't forget her face. Had he really gone forward in time? He shrugged it off weirder things had happened.
Yes time was not easy to understand many people thought they did but time was really unpredictable and had a mind of its own.
