Word Count: 287 (I know, over again. Forgive me? =D)

Disclaimer: Characters belong to Ryan Murphy, I'm just borrowing them so they can do my bidding for a while.

A/N: Okay… I know it's a bit early (or sickeningly early, if I weren't me, I'd kill me for writing this so early), but this was the first thing that popped into my head…

Summary: Sam gets frustrated.

"Sam, it's too high."

"What are you talking about? How can mistletoe be too high? It's put there so people of all heights can stand underneath it." Dark brows arched in frustrated amazement at the comment. It seemed Brooke could find fault within everything she did today. First Brooke didn't like where she'd plopped the tree down. Then she'd rearranged all the decorations on it. If that wasn't enough, she'd changed all the place settings Sam had set out earlier too. And Sam was close to snapping.

"It just looks off." Brooke said, frowning up at the piece of shrubbery hanging from the Palace ceiling. Sam glared down at her, resting her forearms on the arch of the top of the ladder she was standing on.

"What does that even mean? 'Off'?" The blonde waved a hand dismissively at the question.

"Just come down, I'll fix it." Sam rolled her eyes, clenched her jaw and began to descend. It was as if Brooke had been going out of her way to annoy her today, and Sam didn't understand. And when Sam didn't understand something, she got grumpy.

Her socked feet made no sound as they hit the floor.

"Oh…. Look at that." Sam lifted her head to find Brooke looking up and pointing with a silly grin on her face. "Mistletoe." Sam was unsure whether to be angry or amused. Then Brooke sent a sexy, seductive smile her way, pulled her in for a long kiss and made up her mind for her.

Sam settled on feeling drugged. High as a kite. She grinned goofily into the kiss and wrapped her arms around Brooke.

"I hate you." She mumbled, and felt the blonde's shoulders shake.

"No you don't."
