Zhi Shu's POV:
I walked through the door of my family's home. Thank God I'm finally home from that annoying Christmas business party. If Dad's colleagues introduced me to their daughter, granddaughter, or niece again I was gonna lose it. I hope I don't have to hear that idiot girl mope about her friends standing her up.
I walked through the living room and saw her lighting up sparklers. She didn't seem to notice me as I walked up to the balcony doors, while she turned and leaned over the balcony.
I heard her starting to mumble to herself and I softly chuckled to myself at her. I opened my mouth to startle her but stopped when I heard her mention her mom. I seldom hear her mention her mom or anything about her. Mostly all the stuff I heard about her I heard from her father.
She was crying, telling her mom how much missed her and begging her not to leave her, like she was seeing before her very eyes. Then when I could tell her sparkler went out, she dropped it on the with her dropping to her knees,
"Mama please, don't leave me, I really need you please, I miss you!" She pulled her knees to herself and rocked back and forth.
I can't believe I'm doing this.
I ran up to her and pulled her to me. She startled and looked up at me, shocked. She quickly wiped her face.
"Zhi Shu, you're home early" She said trying to her the emotion in her voice.
" I got bored" I simply stated looking straight at her. "You saw your mother, didn't you" I asked her.
She lowered her head and nodded. "I miss her so much". The emotion starting back in her voice.
"I know" I pulled her to me and let her let it out.
I guess I'm guilty of judging of what I see on the surface, because that's probably all you want most people to see, like me.
A/N: Not the best, but close enough on short notice.
