Wow, ya'll have been really great! I hadn't intended on continuing this, but I got so many requests to do it, so I did. The idea for this actually came from Penn O'Hara, who wanted to see Carolyn dealing with her anger at the SOB who nearly took her partner from her. So thanks, Penn, and enjoy!

CICICICICICICICICICICICICI

I can't contain the low growl that bursts from my throat at the sight of this... this piece of garbage whimpering and pleading under me. For days I've been trying to track this asshole down, and now I have him.

The gun is clenched tightly in my hand, so tightly that I'm shaking as I press the muzzle further and further into his neck. One motion, and it's done. He nearly took my partner's life, and now he's going to pay.

"Please! Please don't do this!" he whines, fueling my anger further.

My finger is itching as it rests on the trigger. I lick my lips in anticipation. His lip is still bleeding from when I hit him, and I smirk in satisfaction. He caused my partner pain, and I returned the favor.

I shift again on top of him, planting my knee more firmly in the middle of his chest. I apply the slightest amount of pressure to the trigger, but something stops me from pulling it completely. I try again, but nothing.

Somewhere in the back of my mind, there's a soft voice telling me to stop, and it's slowly getting louder. Mike... My head falls forward slightly, and I slowly pull the gun away from his neck. With a snarl, I ram the butt of the gun into his chest, satisfied at his gasp of pain. Finally moving away, I glare at him and growl, "Get the hell out of my sight."

He rolls away, clutching his chest as he disappears from my sight. My hand trembles as I tuck the gun back into my holster and walk away from the alley, my feet carrying me back to the hospital.

People are staring at me as I head into the hospital and walk straight toward the chapel. Mike is waiting for me, but I'll be there soon. There's something I have to take care of first.

The End

A/N: Well, there it is. I really hope ya'll enjoyed this, and I'm toying with the idea of a third story, with both Carolyn and Mike. What do ya'll think? Please review!
