In my last story on the maze runner series in 2015 I had discussed some of my views on the book and how I felt it related to the real life. Some of those views have changed. Some of them have not. Over the years I have watched all the movies and The Maze Runner and The Scorch Trials books. I still haven't read The Death Cure yet because I haven't been able to bring myself to read the book after someone spoiled what happened to Newt. I was hoping the movie would have a different ending, but sadly I was wrong.

Anyways, in my last post I talked about how in life you have three tasks 1. Go to school, 2. Get a job, and 3. Make it in life. I went on to talk about how if you went off this course you would not survive in life much like in the Gladers in the movie. However, after watching the new movie and rereading my writings from three years ago I now have some different opinions.

I now do not think you have to follow those three rules in life in order to succeed. It may be the popular and most common way to go, but it does not mean it is the only way. Every person's life is different; therefore, they may have a different way from others meaning more "rules" or "less rules" or maybe even no rules at all. In 2015, I was a freshman in high school and very fixated on the one way or no way, but as I've grown I've come to realize that that life style may not be for everyone.

Not only do I disagree with these so called "rules" I also disagree with the fact that I included that God did not put us on this earth to fail school, do drugs, bully people, or other things among the lines of those. Now, I'm not encouraging or saying those things are good, but if you realize what you're doing and, in some cases, get the help you need it won't ruin your life forever. Now I bet your wondering how this relates to the Maze Runner series, and you'd be right about that absolutely nothing about this rant has related back to the books/movies. So, if I have peaked your interest stay tuned for chapter two.
