A little silly idea born from ongakuneko (Ongaku) and mine's...nteresting conversation on MSN.

Foolish Jealousy

Orihime couldn't stop shifting upon her chair while the wind blew up against her which caused, Ulquiorra, to stare at her with a calculating look. As always. Orihime just smiled at him, pretending that nothing had happened.

He was no fool.

Well, maybe.

When the wind blew again, this time harder, he watched her shift once more on the chair. The wind was teasing her into embarrassment in front of him who was still learning about human society.

"Woman, why do you keep moving around?"

Orihime blinked and started to blush just a tad. "I uh....the...."

"Woman," he warned. He wasn't very patient, especially when something piqued his curiosity and he wished to know immediately of the reason why she was shifting.

As if an evil, mocking sorcerer was watching them, the wind blew harder this time and it made Orihime tense up while the itch to move was gnawing away at her nerves. "It's nothing...really," she said while blushing harder now.

The wind blew once more, causing her to bite her bottom lip gently.

"Woman." His voice clearly said that he was loosing his patience with her and Orihime looked away to look down at the concrete that made the patio.

"The wind keeps...blowing into my-" Oh she couldn't finish without blushing harder. "My skirt," she said quickly in a rush.

Ulquiorra stared at her in silence at her answer. Of course, the wind blew once more and she shifted once more.

Was it possible to be jealous of an element?

Orihime pulled her skirt down to block some of and it really wasn't such a skimpy one either. It was modest of course yet still gave leeway to the wind to go through.

If so, Ulquiorra was really starting to be terribly foolish to be jealous of the mere wind outside.
