Hey guys, I recently read Batman: Year One and it left me wondering. How would Gotham's resident gutter press respond to reports of a giant bat creature hunting down criminals? I'm going to try to write a series of one shots which will be like tabloid articles, based in a mash up continuity of Batman: Year One and Batman Begins. Might add more events as I read more Batman Comics, but for now, I give you Batman: Year One, the Gotham Glass Chronicles.
Disclaimer: This story is based on characters created and owned by DC Comics. I'm only doing this for fun.

BRUCE WAYNE RETURNS TO SHOOT BACK
A while back, he was a small child without his mommy, but after seeing him today, many women definitely wouldn't mind spanking him, whether he's naughty or nice! That's right ladies, the Kid who had it all is now a full grown, man sized hunk!
After disappearing from the public eye and even being pronounced dead by the Hapless Hack, Wayne Enterprises CEO William Earle, little Bruce is back and it looks like he's about to make a mark in Gotham's business industry.
This doesn't come a moment too soon. Gotham has been reeling under the effects of crime and people like the Flaky Falcones and Malevolent Maronis are taking this city down to a new low, but perhaps the return of a Wayne family member can strike some kind of revolution in this city, the same way Thomas and Martha Wayne managed to help us drag ourselves out of the last recession.
For those of you who've been hiding under a rock for the past 15 years, the Wayne family were the royals of Gotham, until their lives were cut short in a dramatic robbery, leaving young Bruce, their only son, tragically orphaned.
I myself, as one of the GLASS' most loyal reporters, was the first on the scene, where I managed to get the defining images of Gotham's dark past, as the young child lay there crying, clinging to his parents' bodies.
I felt glad that I took those images and was glad that we ran them continuously for 3 months. I'm sure getting to see his parents' blood covered faces brought some comfort to the young child and sped up his recovery.
After graduating at our own Gotham Academy and then going off to Princeton, Bruce disappeared for many years, before finally and gladly making his way back to his favourite city with all those lovely childhood memories and more importantly, with his favourite newspaper.
Our valiant reporters have been trying day and night to interview the wonderful Wayne, but still haven't gotten a word out of him. He hasn't even made any interesting phone conversations recently!
But fear not, our loyal readers, we will keep trying and will eventually persevere! Soon, for your benefit, this paper will get an exclusive interview with Mr. Wayne and we will reveal all of his secrets.
