Rengia

Georgia was poking at the fire absent-mindly with a stick when she realized Renji was sitting next to her. All at once, her heart went up in flames. Her over-whelming desire to kiss him engulfed her and she let out a strangled gasp.
"Are you ok?" Renji asked, his face scrunched up in concern.
Georgia shook her head to clear her emotions and looked up at him and forced a smile.
"No, I'm fine."
She pulled the piece of wood out of the flames and turned to Renji, blushing slightly.
"Umm… do you want a marshmallow?" She asked lamely, staring into Renji's brown eyes.
She found herself getting lost in his eyes, melting in their hidden gentleness. Oh god, she loved him so much. Her head screamed at her, telling she couldn't love again not after Conder but her heart was soaring above the clouds, at the mere thought of him.
"Marsh…mallow?" Renji twisted his tongue around the word.
Georgia laughed, a sweet laugh and her heart leaped 100 times over.
Renji turned a bright scarlet and turned away awkwardly. Georgia sighed. The love in her heart was so great and made her ache so terribly, she wanted to scream, until the air in her lungs was no more. Shadows surrounded her, strangling her, choking her life away into darkness forever. She longed to reach out and stroke his cheek. To undo the binds that held his long crimson hair back and run her fingers through it. To fill the hole in her heart.
How long are you going to keep rejecting me?
"Alright, I'll try it," Renji muttered.
Georgia handed him the sweet and watched his face as he chewed it up. Renji face's screwed and spat the marshmallow out in disgust. Georgia laughed a sweet, light, lovely laugh. She couldn't remember the last time she laughed like it. Renji's cheeks turned redder than his hair.
"Renji Abarai, are you blushing?" she giggled.
"No," he said and blushed even more.
"Is it because you love me?"
Renji's eyes widened and a look of pure shock crept onto his face.
Georgia kept her face blank, silent, unmoving.
Then he did something that changed her world. He leaned towards her, tilted her chin up and he kissed her. Georgia could feel his desire, his strength. His lips were gentle and she could his arm pulling her toward him. She clung to him with all her power. She was never going to let go of him. She poured everything into the kiss. Her passion, her craving, her love. Her heart burst up in flames. The dark void of loneliness in her heart was filled. Renji Abarai had healed her broken heart. They broke apart and he stoked her cheek. Georgia could feel herself melting. He smiled.
"Oh, Renji," she whispered and fell into her beloved's arms.
"My beautiful Georgia," he breathed, stroking her hand. "I love everything about you. I love your strength. I love the way you fight with grace and elegance, slicing your enemies with such power. I love it when you fight you use that cold, haunting voice…"
Georgia froze in Renji's arms, remembering Haru's fiery eyes.
Renji continued, "I love your kindness, your beautiful face."
Renji looked down at Georgia, a smile lighting up his face.
"Heck, I even loved the way you beat the crap out of me, when we first met."
Georgia smirked.
Renji turned to her, a small smile playing on his lips.
"You will always be mine Georgia, I love you."
"Stay with me, Renji. Don't leave me ever."
"I won't."
Renji cradled her in arms, kissing her gently on the cheek.
Georgia returned the favour by showering his hands with kisses.
"I love you."
"I know."
