Disclaimer: I don't own FFVII

PLEASE READ!: I haven't updated anything FFVII in a very long time. I know this, and I do apologize. My FFVII muse had worn off, and I know almost all of my readers won't even bother reading. I was reading Valentine'sNinja stories and just had a little ZacTi idea planted inside my head. The pairing is Cloti, because that is fav couple, but I sort of want to give this story as a tribute to Joey, aka Valentine'sNinja, whom I have been a horrible e-friend to. My apologies to every reader I've let down with my absence and selfishness. Do forgive me. I appreciate you all very much. Much love. -Tori P.S. Enjoy!

Tifa continued walking the long path until finally she reached her destination. She frowned and wrapped her coat tighter around her body, staring at the sword that served as a grave.

She bit her lip and hesitantly kneeled next to the sword. "Hello, Zack." She started out, unsure of what to say next. She was never really that close with him in the time she'd known him, and their last conversation hadn't ended well, making it all the more difficult to come out here. She knew this was a burden she'd been carrying for a while now, though, and she wanted to be free of the guilt.

"I… I'm not exactly sure what to say…" She admitted, tucking her hair behind her head. The anniversary of his death and she knew Cloud wouldn't be able to visit the grave like he had every year because he was needed in Wutai. She'd ended up telling herself this was the perfect time to get it all out. She sighed and felt her eyes water, "I said some really nasty things that night… at the Mako Reactor."

Tifa felt her throat close at the memory, willing herself to continue, just in case Zack was listening. "I was so angry. I saw my father lying there. I knew you weren't to blame, but you were the only one to lash out on in my state. I- I didn't think I'd see the light of day again, and I was just…" She trailed off, chuckling humorlessly. Taking a deep breath, she then wiped at her eyes and continued.

"I didn't hate you, not in the least. You were so lively and friendly. A bit arrogant, as well, but still friendly" She laughed lightly. "I really did have a nice time showing you around, you know… And then... and then… you sacrificed yourself to save Cloud. You saved him! Without you, I wouldn't- I couldn't-" She broke down then, realizing just how meaningful his sacrifice was. She would be eternally grateful to the tragic, yet heroic actions displayed by him. "I just can't thank you enough. For getting him out of that lab, for being there for him when I couldn't… for bringing him back to me."

She released a shaky breath and stood, pulling out a black ribbon from her jacket and tying it at the grip of the weapon. "Cloud is my hero, but to me, you'll forever remain my angel. So, thank you, Zack."

Tifa stood up and kissed her fingertips, pressing them down onto the sword. "Thank you." She smiled when it began sprinkling, not knowing why she believed a certain dark spikey haired fellow behind it and walked home in a lighter spirit. Somehow, she knew he had heard her, and it felt wonderful.

Sometime early in the next morning, Cloud wearily made his way into the tavern, and up the stairs. He climbed into bed and felt his heart warm at the sight of the woman next to him. She slowly opened her eyes and smiled tiredly, "You're home."

He smiled slightly before kissing her softly on the lips and put a hand on her growing stomach. "I am."

Tifa sighed happily and intertwined her fingers within his, both pulled into the bliss of sleep, an angel watching over them.

I actually love the way this turned out. There are mistakes, no doubt, but I do apologize for them. Hope you liked. Review, please. :)
