Black Orbs

Everyone saw Sam shoot Jake. Everyone was too stunned that Sam had shot him to notice that Sam's eyes turned black for a second. Until it was too late. One-shot.

Disclaimer: I don't own supernatural, Eric Kripke does.

Sam looks angrily at Jake. "let her go!". He yells.

Ellen looks at Sam scared. "Shoot him".

"You'll be mopping up skull before you get a shot off". Jake says and pauses. "Everybody, put your guns down. Except you, sweetheart". Sam, Dean and Bobby put their guns down. "Okay. Thank you".

Jake turns round and inserts the colt into the crypt. Dean and Bobby quickly grab Ellen before she fires. 4 shots are heard in the background and everyone whips round in time to see Jake falling to the floor and Sam with his gun smoking. Everyone looks at Sam shocked. Dean is normally the one to go in with both guns blazing. Never Sam. Never.

They are all brought back to reality when 3 more shots are heard, again from Sam's gun. They see Sam standing over Jake. A twisted smile on his face. Everyone was again so shocked into stupor that they didn't notice Sam's eyes turn black for a second and then turn back to their usually hazel color. Sam turned to them.

"Were done here". Sam said coldly pulling the colt from the crypt and heading toward the Impala.

Dean was the first to speak. "Dude. What the hell was that".

"He deserved what he got". Sam said in a somewhat cold voice.

"Man. No one and I mean no one deserves 7 bullets in the chest. That was harsh". Dean replied.

"Yeah. Well he did". Was Sam's reply.

"What the hell is wrong with you Sam". Dean asked, confused.

Sam turned to Dean. His eyes a cold, cool black. "Nothing is wrong with me".

"Sam?". Dean said, looking at the evil form of his brother.

"I'm just bringing justice". Sam continued and pulled his gun from it's holster and immediately shot Ellen and Bobby.

"Sam. Don't". Dean tried to plead with his brother. Sam just looked at Dean. Dean swore he could see some humanity in Sam's eyes.

"I have to". Sam replied as he shot his brother.

All Dean could hear was the sound of Sam walking away before everything went black.
