A/N: Just a short story about Johanna, Annie & Peeta when The Capital was holding them captive :( Enjoy & Review. Thank-you.
She sat curled in a tiny ball in the furthest away corner of her cellar, her personal hell. She looked up at me, her big doe brown eyes wild and tormented. A single tear slid down her pale cheek, even as I felt answering tears crawl down my cheek and shatter into a million pieces on the hard unforgiving floor.
A long unbroken wail echoes deafeningly for Annie's cellar. Johanna's head snaps away from mine as she stares blankly into space, rocking back and forth. Her soft features pull into a grimace as a single drop of water lands of her now shaven head. Her fist pounds on the floor as she violently shakes.
"Johanna", I whisper in a hoarse voice. She raises her eyebrows playfully, kind of like her old self expect for the tortured look in her eyes. I'm silent for a second lost for words as I often am now. Instead of talking I motion for her too come sit beside me even though were separated by bars.
"It's all her fault", Johanna sighs no sarcasm evident in her voice. I wince stung by Johanna's sudden remark. We never talk about Katniss, and I like it that way.
A large metal gate slams down between Johanna and I cutting our conversation short. One, two, three. That's when her animalistic screams begin lulling me too sleep in the most terrifying ways. Darkness, time and pain is my only company now.
A/N: Thank-you for reading it :) I hope you enjoyed it. Review please.
