Ok this is my first fanfiction story ever. I am not an aspiring writer of anything I just love House. Please read it and tell me what you think (even if it's not positive). THANKS
This is a one shot, its Cuddy's birthday and House has an interesting way on wishing her a happy birthday.
It was Lisa Cuddy's 39th birthday.
As she walked into her office at Princeton Plainsboro Teaching Hospital, Cuddy thought about the past years of her life. She was almost 40 years old, unmarried, without a social life and a boyfriend. She was a workcoholic who spent her weekends either working at the hospital or sitting at home on her couch watching re-runs of Desperate Housewives. She got distracted from her thoughts when she heard the oh so familiar voice of Gregory House. He was sitting in her office on her sofa looking up at her with his bright blue eyes. Lisa would never admit it to anyone but she found Greg's eyes quite attractive, and even so, she found Gregory House quite attractive. His eyes, his scruffy beard, and even his rude remarks she kind of found appealing.
"Good morning Cuddles" House said as he got up from the black leather sofa.
"House what are you doing in my…."
Before she could finish her sentence House interrupted her, "My my the girls look very happy today he said signaling to her breasts, they're probably just happy to see me."
Cuddy gave House her best death glare as she said "You wish House, now get the hell out of MY office!" Putting great emphasis on the word my.
"Tisk tisk tisk Cuddy I was just trying to be polite he said in he best sarcastic tone, I just wanted to give you this" he said handing her a small black box.
Cuddy was taken aback by House's "niceness" and just stood there stunned.
"Cuddy, you know it's impolite to stand staring at someone with your mouth hanging wide open." He said mockingly.
"Umm sorry House it's just so nice of you to uhhh thank you." She said feeling a bit awkward looking Greg House straight into his eyes.
"Well are you going to open it or not?"
"I umm sure" she opened the black velvet box and looked inside ….. nothing was there.
"House if this is your idea of a joke …."
And for the second time that day House cut Cuddy off but this time it wasn't with a rude remark it was with his lips.
House leaned in and kissed Cuddy straight on the lips, and at first Cuddy resisted but then she eased up. She like the way his lips felt against hers.
"No joke, Happy Birthday Lisa" House said and he left her office leaving a smile plastered on both of their faces.
