The sinister music not only filled the room, but deafened everything else. Superman couldn't even hear Batman's heartbeat as he entered his teammate's quarters with his hands firmly placed over his ears. Not that it helped much to dampen the noise and protect his super hearing, but the gesture seemed appropriate.

He tried to yell above the music, but only managed to add one little sound out of tune. Batman of course didn't need more. He typed the end of the sentence he was in the middle of, turning around to face his teammate. He had to read Superman's lips in order to make any meaning out of the screaming.

"TURN IT DOWN!"

Batman turned around completely indifferent and hit a single key to make the music stop.

Superman made a sigh of relief and removed his hands – only to notice a different sound.

"If you wouldn't keep overreacting, then maybe I would tell you these things!" a harsh baritone stated.

"You do NOT talk to me like that" a soprano filled in. "You are the one who KEEPS doing this to us!"

Batman had turned around again, the same neutral expression on his face. He had crossed his arms and watched the stunned surprise spread across Superman's face.

"Aren't your quarters sound proofed?" Kal asked before the soprano filled the room again.

"YOU SCUMBAG OF A-"

The tones of Berlioz began to rumble through the room yet again to block out exactly what kind of scumbag Green Arrow apparently was according to Black Canary. Batman had solemnly rotated in his chair yet again to hit the same key he had punched seconds before. He and Superman didn't need to hear the end of the rather private statement. He began typing as if undisturbed.

Superman stood still for a while, thinking of his next move. Then decided to head for the teleporters. Maybe it would be more quiet in Metropolis after all?
