Within the halls of the now abandoned Magical Sanctuary, once found on Mewni, there are strange drawings painted all around the walls and rubble. They showcased different versions of Star Butterfly, her mother, Eclipsa and even Meteora, but many were either smeared or crossed out with red splatters. Our attention is turned towards the deep well within the center of the sanctuary where a hooded individual is seen using the empty well for a strange ritual. Using nearby vials full of chemicals and other ingredients, the hooded one begins mixing them all together by throwing them into the well. A slightly unhinged look is on their face as they watch the concoction begin to brew within the well. All the mixed ingredients produced a thick, black, sludge-like liquid.

"Yes….Yes…..YESSSSSS…." the hooded one hissed. Slowly reaching for its hood, it was quickly thrown back to reveal the face of Mina Loveberry, the disgraced Solarian warrior responsible for nearly destroying Mewni itself. However, a closer look at her face shows several wrinkles and signs of aging have caught up with her since losing her magical powers. Looking at her hand, she slowly dipped her fingertip into the black ooze which suddenly came to life and latched onto her finger. She gasped while grasping onto her arm as the slime seemingly began to swallow her into its dark depths. She fought against its pull before yanking her arm clean out, stumbling to the floor afterwards. Panting heavily, she looked at her arm which was now coated black. After a momentary pause, veins began pulsating on her arm before it suddenly expanded and grew back to its once muscular, younger self. While mostly dumbfounded by her arm's hideous transformation, her unhinged smile slowly grew into a crooked grin.

"It worked…..IT WORKED! HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" she screamed, rising to her feet again. As she continued her maniacal laughter, she turned towards a crudely made portrait of Star on a large chunk of rubble. With one swing of her bulging arm, she smashed clean through it before emerging from the sanctuary.

"Look out, Star Butterfly, as well as the REST of the Butterflies…..because Mina Loveberry….is COMING FOR YOU." she muttered to herself before letting out a hysterical laugh which echoed throughout the forest now surrounding the sanctuary, scaring away nearby birds….

Star & The Forces of Harmony

Part 01: Two Worlds, One Family

We shift our attention to the city that was once known as Echo Creek, now rightly named Mewni Creek, which is a hotspot for not just the humans who once called this place home but also for Mewmans, monsters and the other magical species that existed in Mewni. Since the joining of the two worlds, the inhabitants have begun mingling their diverse cultures together as you can now find shops run by monsters, schools which feature Mewman history and language lessons as well as other facilities that support the unity. And as we scan over the city, we stop at Echo Creek Elementary School where a pair of children are just getting picked up in a car by their mother. And in the front seat is Star Butterfly, her blonde hair in a ponytail. As the kids climbed in the back seat, she looked over her shoulder at them.

"So, how was school today you two? Were you excited for your last day?" Star asked.

"Oh yeah! Summertime baby!" her son exclaimed. Her son had dirty blonde hair, bright blue eyes and a small freckle under his left eye. His name was Luca Miguela Diaz, Star's son. Besides him was a girl about the same height as him, nose deep in her yearbook. She had long dark brown hair and chestnut eyes. Her name was Luna Nova Diaz, Star's sister. Together, the two are fraternal twins of the happily married Star and Marco.

"What about you Luna? Are you going to miss elementary school?" Star asked, catching her attention.

"Hmm? Oh. No. Not really mom. I know we had to grow out of it sooner or later. Besides, I'll get to see a lot of my friends once we enter middle school." Luna replied. As the car began to depart from the schoolgrounds, Luca leaned forward to look at Star.

"How was work for you mom?" Luca asked "Did you get anything from your students?" Star chuckled.

"Oh. I might've been given a FEW parting gifts from the kids." Star said, turning towards a shopping bag full of small gifts from her students at Mewni Creek Kindergarden. Luca's eyes lit up when he saw them.

"ANY OF 'EM CHOCOLATE?!" he asked, causing Star to giggle. Suddenly, Luna pulled her brother back by the collar of his shirt, leaving him to plop down onto the seat.

"Luca, those gifts are for MOM. It's not our birthday yet." she said "Try and restrain yourself." Luca groaned.

"But I can't help it sis! Once you take chocolate, you've tasted pure heaven." he said, slightly drooling a bit. Luna groaned before turning her attention out the car window.

"HOW do I put up with you?" she groaned. Still watching from the front mirror, Star chuckled to herself as the car continued.

~ At the Butterfly/Diaz Residence ~

Eventually, Star brought the car and the kids right back home afterwards. As they exited the car and went inside, they saw a young adult Marco Diaz relaxing in his recliner chair while gently scratching the head of a fully grown labrador retriever by his side, a fully grown version of one of the laser puppies Star first created. As they came in, Marco noticed them.

"Oh! Star! I wasn't expecting you and the kids back for a while yet. I just finished the housework and figured I'd deserve a little relaxation." he said. The kids approached Marco as Star shut the door behind her.

"Don't you remember dad? Today was our last day of school. We're officially finished with elementary school." Luca asked. Marco chuckled, rubbing his son's head.

"Oh yeah? Well, good for you. Hope you kids are ready for summer break then. Because your mom and I have been planning something SPECIAL." he said, piquing Luca's excitement. He noticed Luna merely walking by and stopped her.

"Oh yeah! Luna? Here. I have something for you." he said. Luna glanced towards her father as he reached for a small bag situated by his feet, handing it to her. Luna lightly gasped.

"Dad, is this…?" she asked, to which Marco nodded.

"You betcha. The publishers finally finished printing your papa's latest creation. And THIS is your copy of it. It arrived a little while ago" he said. With eyes full of glee, Luna opened the bag and reached inside, finding a book inside. The cover showcased a young man, similarly designed to Marco's physical self from the Neverzone.

"Thanks dad! I can't wait to read it! Uhhh…if-if you'll excuse me…" she said, suddenly leaving the room afterwards. Luca followed as Star chuckled, leaning herself against the arm of Marco's chair.

"How long do you think it'll take her to realize the "main character" of her favorite book series…is actually YOU?" she asked. Marco smirked.

"Hey. It's fooled her this far. Best not ruin the enjoyment for her, I say." Marco replied "Besides, YOU made it clear that, when the kids were born, we weren't supposed to diverge any of our magical adventures to them yet." Star sighed.

"I know. I may have had quite the "childhood", being raised as a princess with my mom and dad on Mewni. But….seeing as I no longer have to worry about ruling a kingdom, I want to make sure my own children can have a normal childhood…without having to go through any of the hardships I did." she explained. Just then, Marco shifted towards her and put his hand over hers, their wedding rings overlapping each other's. Star looked down at Marco.

"I think that's very mature of you Star….heh. A LOT more mature than the "Star Butterfly" I first met in high school. Then again, I did end up falling for you because of your "Butterfly charm" in the end of it all, didn't I?" he said. Star lightly blushed before she leaned in, kissing Marco on the cheek.

"Guess so. And I couldn't have asked for a better squire, errr, "king" than you, Marco." she stuttered. Eyeing each other, the two lightly blushed before resting their foreheads against each other. Just then, their doorbell rang, piping Star's attention.

"Who could that be? Are we expecting anyone?" Marco asked. Star chuckled, approaching the door.

"Yep…and you'll never guess WHO." she said. Opening the front door, they were greeted to the sight of not only Marco's parents, but Star's own parents as well. Now living amongst the humans of Earth, Moon and River were wearing more casual clothing rather than their royal robes. Also standing there was a pre-teen Mariposa, Marco's kid sister.

"HELLO there darling. Ehh…I hope we didn't arrive TOO early." River said.

"Yes. Where ARE our darling grandchildren?" Rafael added, putting an arm over River's shoulders. Moon lightly sighed.

"Hello Star. Good to see you." she added. While Marco seemed puzzled, Star stepped aside, allowing them inside. As they walked in, Marco approached her side.

"Wait. You invited over our parents? Why?" Marco asked.

"Why not? It's a special day after all. The kids ARE elementary school graduates…so I figured they'd like a visit from their grandparents is all." Star said "Luca! Luna! We have VISITORS!" Soon enough, the kids came racing into the room at the sight of their grandparents. Luca ran into the arms of Rafael and Angie as Luna hugged River and Moon.

"Grandpa! Grandma! Guess what?! I graduated elementary school today!" Luca exclaimed.

"Ho ho ho! Our little boy is growing up SO FAST!" Rafael laughed, tightening his hug. Meanwhile, Moon and River looked on upon their granddaughter as River lightly rubbed her head.

"Would you look at her, my dear? A spitting image of her mother I'd say." River commented.

"Yes. Quite the little princess we have here." Moon added, making Luna lightly blush.

"C-Come on you two. You don't have to….compare me to a princess all the time." she said, looking away.

"Why not? So long as you're OUR granddaughter, you'll ALWAYS be a princess to us." River chuckled.

"Speaking of which…River dear? Did you remember the "thing" I asked you to bring?" Moon asked. River looked at her puzzled at first before it suddenly came back to him. He reached under his coat and pulled out a piece of folded fabric, handing it to Luna.

"Here you are, my dear. A graduation present from your grandmum and I." River said. Luna unfolded the cloth, seeing it to be a small tapestry similar to those of the previous Butterfly royal family. Unlike the others, however, it showed Luna sitting on a grassy hill, reading a book.

"Mom? You made Luna a banner?" Star asked, catching a glimpse for herself.

"It's just something I made after all those lessons your father and I took at the community center, Star. It's just like the one I made for you all those years ago, remember?" she asked. Luna smiled before looking up to Moon, hugging her around the waist.

"Thank you grandma Moon. I love it." she said. Moon smiled before hugging her back. Marco looked on at their family members mingling together before a smirk came to his face and he clapped his hands.

"Well then….seeing as this is such a MOMENTOUS day indeed, thanks to my wife, I think this calls for a special "Diaz Family" dinner! And I'm sure everyone knows what THAT means…" Marco asked, winking at the end.

"Diaz One Ton Taco's!" his parents and Luca exclaimed. Marco nodded before inviting everyone into the kitchen. Star remained by Moon's side, a big grin on her face, as Moon looked puzzled.

"O-Oh my. Tell me, Star….surely they don't expect us to eat THAT much?" she asked. Star threw her arm over Moon's shoulders as they followed the rest.

"Don't worry mom. It's not "literally" that much. Eat as much as you want. Just, ehh….watch out for Mr. Diaz's special "hot sauce". That's a REAL kicker and I don't think you're ready for it yet." she explained.
