Obsidian Dreams
By: Sparxyu
In her dreams,
There was a haunting vision.
Two circles of coal-black glistened,
And they formed his eyes.
Soft black feathers formed his hair,
And porcelain was his skin, fragile but strong.
His body looked as though it would fall apart,
Because it was so skinny.
Indeed, he was a haunting figure,
But deep inside her dreams,
And deep inside her heart,
She knew he was there.
And every night,
He appeared.
Her feeling of safety increased,
And she fell in love with him.
But on that cursed night,
He did not appear.
Pearly, salty tears slipped down her cheeks,
But his ghost still watched over her at night,
Hovering above her head,
Watching in the morning as her feet hit the floor.
The ghost kissed her cheek,
And entered her dreams once more.
And the story was reborn.
But every night, he sang to her:
"Mori no fukuro ga iimashita
Watashi wa mori no mihari yaku
Kowai okami, kitsune nado
Kosasenai kara ne ne shina
Gorosuke ho ho
Gorosuke ho."
The end.
