"I need that jewel, Sasuke," Orochimaru says as he crosses his arms. His expression on his face was very serious. I walk beside Kabuto into the forest.
…
We have arrived at our destination that took just about eight hours. "Heart village," Kabuto says as he crosses his arms.
"Its just nothing but a wasteland, only with a sign here. Why they picked this place to hide the jewel?"
Kabuto smirks and pushes his glasses. "Legend says, the jewel has the power to grant anyone wishes. The King of the land of that time had all his wishes granted until a jealous woman came along and took the jewel. The lady took massive powers from the jewel. He went up against her and won. This place we are looking at once used to be full of life. People said that the King wished that this land be a waste and no one ever finds his jewel. Of course, many people have tried looking for and any has not returned."
I looked at the wasteland. "Let's hurry, this place is already getting under my skin." I walked into the village.
Kabuto walks next to me. "It will take days, that's why Orochimaru sign me to help you find this jewel."
"Whatever." I used Sharingan to see if there anyone around, didn't see anyone. We checked around and found a great mountain, used my Sharingan to see a jutsu tied to a boulder, went to the boulder. "I have to break this." I broke the jutsu using chidori.
Kabuto came to my side as he looks inside the cave. "Nice going, who would have thought there is was a cave here? Give me a second." He used a candle that he brought with him and light the candle with a match. "Let's go." We walked inside into the darkness. "What cause you to find this, Sasuke?"
I have said nothing to him, up ahead was a little light. The more we walked closer to the light, the light became bigger and bigger at this point. Kabuto's candlelight turns off because of the wind. We entered the light, the first thing we saw is a white stand on top of the stand was a white box.
"This is too easy, be careful."
I had to agree with Kabuto on this one. I looked everywhere. "Maybe there is a trap under our feet without us knowing."
"You could be right about that, look for any traps," Kabuto says. Kabuto and I were careful where to step. We did not set any trap and have gotten to the white box. The white box looks easy to open and to steal. "Wait, if I am right. Once I get the box, maybe a trap is going to set off." Kabuto says.
"I'll do it. You go back to the entrance. If anything happens, at least you can escape. I'll join you later."
Kabuto took a minute to say. "Okay, just get ready." He walks towards the entrance. I looked behind me to see him at the entrance, turn my head to pay attention to the white box as I walked up to the box. Something told me within my thoughts to open the box and take the jewel.
I knew better than to listen to my thoughts. I used my sharingan if anything were to happen right now. I place my fingertips on each side of the box, lift up the box towards me. The white stand started to go down.
I turn around and started to make a run for it. The whole place started to collapse. "Come on!" Kabuto yelled at me. A huge rock fell in front of me blocking the path to get to Kabuto. I had to jump out of the way since a large rock almost fell on top of me.
I landed very far from the entrance since more rocks kept falling in front of me. "I'll meet you outside! I found another entrance!" I yelled.
"You better make it!" The was the last time I heard from him as I make myself jump on top of the fallen rocks that were coming down, finally came to the last rock, and jump on top of the cliff. I jump off a cliff as I keep jumping all the way down to the ground. Once on the ground, I looked up to see the mountain collapsing within. I left to join Kabuto.
Near the entrance there was Kabuto. I walked up to him. He smirks. "That was easy, shall we head back?"
"Let's go." We left the village when Kabuto stops in front of me. He pushes his glasses up. "I should hold the box." He put his hands out.
"Whatever, I don't care who holds the box." I jump towards him when I stop in midair. Everything went black for a moment for me.
…
(Kabuto)
He stops in midair and disappears. The box drops, which I ended up getting. The box was still sealed shut and looks like it needed a key which it was not there before. "Sasuke!" I went looking for him, could not sense him anywhere. Sasuke was gone. 'I wonder where he went to?' I headed back to Orochimaru.
…
The following day, when I finally arrived at the hideout. Once in front of Orochimaru's view in his room where he was seated. He crosses his arms and crossed his legs. "Nice going, I pictured the journey did not take long since Sasuke figured it out."
I looked to the side when he mentioned Sasuke. It took a moment to explain to him. "Sasuke disappeared when he was about to hand me over the box."
"What do you mean disappeared?" He raised his eyebrow.
"He just stopped in midair and disappeared. He left the box behind. I looked for him everywhere I could think of, he just vanished the face of the earth." I walked up to him with the box. "At least he left the jewel behind." I place the box on top of the table next to him.
Orochimaru stands up. "Where is the key?"
I looked at the box. "I don't think we need the key. I could open it, just need time to break it open." I smirk evilly.
"Go ahead and open it. Meanwhile, I'll send out a crew to look for Sasuke."
"Sasuke… He disappeared." I looked at him with a serious look. "Now, get this. When we first got the box. The box did not have a keyhole after Sasuke disappeared, that's when the keyhole appeared." I looked at the box. "I don't think the box has the jewel. I think Sasuke has it. Where he went, he has the jewel."
"Kabuto!" He raised his voice. "Sasuke won't do such things like that! He is very trustworthy. If Sasuke turns up dead, you will have to explain everything to me! For now, open the box and prove to me that I am wrong!"
I looked at him and felt very misunderstood. Orochimaru walks away, leaving me in the dark.
