Mary Margaret Blanchard had just walked across Town Square when her real memories hit like a bolt of lightning. She gasped and saw recognition in David – no, James' face, from across the street. Snow White bolted to her husband and jumped up in his arms. The two began to kiss.

"I love you so much. I'm so sorry, Snow." James felt immensely guilty for his actions the past few months and he wasn't sure how he'd ever be able to make up for them.

"Just shut up and kiss me." Snow laughed when James complied with her request. She didn't realize what had been missing in her life until now.

"We're attracting a crowd." James reluctantly pulled away from his wife and just beamed at her.

"Who cares about the crowd? I don't care what anyone thinks anymore. I love you, and I am never letting you go again." She briefly wondered if anyone else remembered, but pushed that thought away.

"Emma! Where is our daughter? Who hates me." He sighed, suddenly feeling down. James didn't want his own daughter to hate him.

"She doesn't hate you – Emma just doesn't trust you. There's a difference. You hurt me and she hates it when people do that. You know, I was kidnapped by one of Regina's former followers and she came after me? Emma said we were family after that. She freaked out a little, but I could tell she meant it."

"What happened to Regina's follower?" James frowned, suddenly worried that there was going to be someone going after his family.

"I kicked him out of the window and he disappeared. Emma said he thought his hat was magical and a portal to the other world. She didn't really believe it, but I think that is what happened." Snow frowned, but then giggled when her husband kissed her again. She had missed James so much during their time apart. Regina would not get away with what she had done. That much was for sure.

The couple was busy having a conversation about what their next plan should be when Emma suddenly rushed up to them. "Mary!"

"What is it?" Snow waited expectantly for her daughter to answer her question.

David waited impatiently as Emma ignored him and just focused on her mother. "I think I believe Henry now. I just saw Regina do something that shouldn't be possible, and I can't explain it away. The curse is real! What do I do with that?"

"We know. Our memories are back." James smiled at her.

Emma gaped at her parents in shock. "You mean, you remember? You're actually Snow White and Prince Charming? My parents?" She suddenly felt dizzy, and Mary helped her put her head between her knees to calm her down.

"We just remembered now. It was odd – They came suddenly. We don't know why, but we're not questioning it. Regina will pay for her actions. The curse just needs to be completely broken." James couldn't believe it.

He was right – The curse had broken just a bit more, but Snow and James remembering wasn't the catalyst to ending it completely – That was up to Emma and the rest of the people living in Storybrooke.

Regina was going to fall and her reign would be over soon, but for now, Snow and James's memories returning and Emma's newfound belief in the truth were enough to tip the balance just a little in their favor.

It had been eight months since Emma Swan had arrived in Storybrooke to bring her son home, and life for the town's citizens was starting to change for the better.
