As BA checked for the final time on Cross' men, tied up in the barn, he could hear a familiar whoosh then thumping sound, then cheering and some bantering. He frowned in puzzlement at the sounds. Then, he scowled at the bad guys, satisfied they were secure, he turned his back to them. A cheeky smile crept across his face and he tried not to giggle. He loved acting mean and angry.

With the jeering continuing outside, curiosity overtook him. He walked out of the side door of the barn in the direction of the noise, to find Amy, once again, throwing the cabbages. But this time, Face was chucking the cabbages into the machine BA had built and Murdock was aiming the long tube. Murdock would shout, "Now!", and Face would throw the cabbages in. Another cabbage fired and all three of them cheered, laughing, giving each other hi-fives.

Amy ran over to a fence - he presumed she was setting up a target - and then ran back with the cabbages, resuming her position. Face and Murdock were giving each other some banter, joking about who was the best shot. BA shook his head.

"Hey, BA!" Amy had spotted him. "Come have a go."

"Nah." He waved at her and gently shook his head.

"Come on, Big Guy. It's fun," Murdock said, also spotting him. "You designed it; you should at least get to play with it." Murdock ushered him over.

BA shook his head and chuckled. Hell, why not? And he jogged over to the converted machine. Face and Murdock grinned at each other.

BA climbed up and took the large hose from Murdock.

"I ain't having no crazy fool putting me off my aim," he glared at Murdock.

"Okay, okay, Big Guy. Whatever you say. I'll throw the cabbages up, give Amy a break." Murdock saluted and jumped down from the machine.

Amy giggled, patting him on the back, then wiping her brow with the back of her hand. She stood aside, watching Murdock.

BA saw the target. An old tin can, of all things. He held up the tube, setting his aim.

"Now!" he ordered.

Murdock threw Face two cabbages, which he caught and chucked into the chute. They flew out the tube and one of them hit the tin can.

"Yeah!" BA smiled, punching his fist into the air. The rest of the team cheered and laughed too.

"Guys," Hannibal called, walking around the corner, stopping them all in their tracks. "Time we cleared out of here. We need to head back to the office now."

BA grumbled, jumping down from his machine.

"Ah, man, just as I was starting to have some fun."
