"Will you marry me?" Edward said as he stared into the mirror with a ring in his hand.

"Big brother?" Alphonse said behind him.

"Sweet Mother of…" He said as he nearly jumped out of his skin and nearly knocked over the stuff on the dresser and the mirror. He turned around to see Alphonse's curious expression.

"You are finally going to ask her, big brother," Alphonse said.

"Well…uhh…maybe?" He said. He could feel his face turn red. He didn't want his brother to see him like this.

Al didn't say anything about his face and just nodded his head.

"I have been wondering when you were going to ask her. Everyone has. I think Granny has a bet going around"

He didn't want to know that. He sighed.

"I just can't find the moment to ask. Every time, I think that I found the prefect moment. Something came along and messed it up."

Al frowned for a moment.

"What happened?"

"There was that one time on the porch then Granny interrupted. There was that walk and it started to pour down rain. I tried to do it in her shop when she was alone. Then I forget that she is never alone. How did you do it? I never have gotten the whole story."

He was slightly muffed about that. He wasn't there for the wedding and his little brother got married before him. They are planning a second wedding just for family and friends. He could never get the whole story out of either Mai or his brother. The only thing that he got was a sick panda, a chase on horse back, an explosive on a train and Lin giving Mai away.

Alphonse scratched his head and laughed.

"It wasn't planned. It just happened, big brother. Perhaps…you should do the same," Alphonse said.

He blinked.

"What?"

"Perhaps, you shouldn't try to make it prefect. You should do it when you feel the moment. I have a feeling that she will say yes."

He stared at Alphonse.

"You know something," He said as he poked Al's shoulder. His little brother just smiled.

"I know a lot of things, big brother. I can't always tell since I promised. She will say yes when you asked if even you do something wrong."

"How do you know?"

"Because she loves you." Alphonse said simply enough.

His mouth snapped shut and he stared at his little brother. He remembered a little boy that he went on adventures with. Now, he has gone and grown up on him. It made him kind of sad and also very proud.

"When you turn around and gotten all wise on me," He said with a grin.

Alphonse just smiled shyly and started to blush.

"Only because I learned from the best."

He took a deep breathe. He was really going to do this.

"I think…I am ready now."

"I am right behind you if you need me."

He had the best little brother in the world.
