Sweet Observations
It was another boring day.
To Light Yagami, almost every day was boring.
Stuck in a room, hacking into computers...
Plain and simple boring.
Currently, he was watching the main detective on the Kira case.
A detective called L, whose real name was Ryuzaki.
As usual, he was eating sweets.
Light always wondered why Ryuzaki liked sweets so much, so he decided to ask. "Hey, Ryuzaki?"
Ryuzaki looked at him, a strawberry in his mouth. "Hm?"
"Uhm...well...I wanted to ask you..."
"Ask me what?"
"Why do you eat so many sweets, anyway? That can't be very healthy for you, can it...?"
The detective finished off the strawberry and went for something else.
A sugar coated...something.
Light couldn't tell what the hell the thing was.
"Well, it keeps me up, for one." Ryuzaki replied, munching on the sweet.
All the sugar made Light flinch. "And...?"
"Hm...I've always eaten them as a child, so I guess it's just the natural craving for something, I suppose."
"I'm surprised that you've eaten so many and not get a single cavity. I could never eat something with THAT much sugar." Light said, pointing to the sugar coated things on the plate.
"Care to try it?" Ryuzaki asked. "They're not that bad, actually."
"No thanks." Light replied, shaking his head. "I'd like to keep my life in check, thank you very much."
"I see."
Light grinned then. "I do like sweets, sometimes. I have a favorite one, actually."
"Oh?" Ryuzaki asked, cocking his head. "And what one would that be?"
"Heh...you should know."
A light flicked in Ryuzaki's head, and it caused him to go a slight shade of red. "O-Oh...I see."
Light smirked. "Exactly."
Ending A.N: Well, there you have it. Enjoy it?
