Hello everyone. I'm not sure why I'm posting this, I wrote it a while ago. It's not even very good, but I just thought I'd get this out here. I don't know where I'm going with this. I'll just post as I write, I suppose.

Humor me? Someone guess what happened to Ben and Julie.

Repression

The streets were cold. An ominous roar of thunder ripped through the air. A harsh rain began to pelt the Rustbucket. "Kevin, this needs to happen." Kevin shot a look toward their leader, then toward his girlfriend,

"Gwen, you can't be serious." Gwen leered at him with cold eyes,

"Kevin! Look at him! He can't live like this! It's been weeks, Uncle Carl and Aunt Sandra still don't know only because Grandpa's been taking care of him! He's been like this for two weeks! Aren't you worried about that?"

"He can't just forget about what he did! What about Julie? He's going to notice!"

"...Kevin, I've... I've already agreed to help. No matter how much it hurts. It's not his fault. He... didn't do it. He didn't mean it. And I can't blame him." Julie took a glance at Ben's unmoving form. His eyes were lifeless. His shoulders slouched as he sat, propped up against the wall. She took a tentative step forward, then another. She found herself sitting down next to him. He turned his head, his eyes averted. He still wasn't able to look at her. Not even after two weeks. His voice was quiet.

He didn't sound like the Benjamin Kirby Tennyson she'd fallen in love with.

"Sorry, Julie. I am so sorry. It's all my fault. It's my fault that-" Julie took him into her arms.

"Ben, we're going to make you better, okay?" she whispered, motioning for Gwen to make her move. "It'll all be alright." Ben sat up, staring at his cousin with tired, emerald eyes. He shook quietly as her hand approached.

"...I shouldn't forget," he said, "I can't forget. It's my fault." Kevin huffed, he couldn't take much more of Ben's attitude.

"Come on, Benji. Give it up, you'll feel a lot better once this is over." Gwen's hand began to glow pink.

"Ben, please. Feel better. The world needs you back," Julie whispered. Ben leaned back and closed his tired eyes.

A flash of pink. The world faded to black.
