Summary: BotL Ch. 5. Kronos wants Luke to show him his what? Percy gets the wrong idea

I was reading Battle of the Labyrinth when it suddenly occurred to me just how different the whole thing would've been with a couple of trims and extra words in it –insert insane fangirl giggling– Poor Percy…

Oh, warning for SLASHY themes, just in case that's not your cup of tea, nothing explicit though

That night in my dreams, I was in the stateroom of the Princess Andromeda. Luke knelt on the Persian rug in front of the golden sarcophagus of Kronos.

In the moonlight, Luke's blond hair looked pure white. He wore an ancient Greek chiton (and I mean ancient because it looked pretty fragile like it was made out of spiderwebs, I could see the outline of his body through the thing) and a white cape that flowed down his shoulders.

The white clothes made him look timeless and a little unreal, like one of the minor gods on Olympus. A very handsome god. I could feel my cheeks burning, and I was glad no one could see me. Wait, they were talking about something, I was so preoccupied I didn't hear…

Luke closed his eyes as if collecting his thoughts. " My lord, perhaps it is too soon. Perhaps– "

No. Kronos' voice was quiet but absolutely firm. I will lead. One more heart shall join our cause, and that will be sufficient.

"But the form, my lord…" I looked up at Luke in surprise, his voice had started shaking.

Show me your sword, Luke Castellan.

A jolt went through me and I nearly choked. He wanted Luke to show him his what?

You pledged yourself to me, Kronos reminded him. You took this sword as proof of your oath.

Took his sword? Then did that mean that they'd already…? My whole face must have gone red by now. Did I really need to be here for this part? Oh gods, get me out of here. That was just wrong!

"Yes, my lord. It's just– "

You wanted power. I gave you that. You are now beyond harm. Soon you will rule the world of gods and mortals. Do you not wish to avenge yourself? To see Olympus destroyed?

That bastard! That's coercion! And seriously, wasn't Luke way too young for him?

A shiver ran through Luke's body. "Yes"

The way he said that made goose bumps prickle on my skin and I wasn't sure if my head could take it if anymore blood rushed to my face. I had to get out of here. Now.

Gods, my pants were killing me.

The coffin glowed, golden light filling the room.

I sank to the ground, shivering from what I'd seen. Tyson found me there the next morning, still red and staring into space as things began to make sense in my head.

Now, how in Zeus' name was I gonna tell Annabeth?

LOL. Random. But it'd still be nice if you R & R...
