Mahhh!
I haven't done this in a long time. Welcome back, Me! We'll see if I've lost my touch or not, ne?
Disclaimer: I don't own anything.
…
Ryuuji inserted his coins into the vending machine and pressed the button to get Taiga's drink. Then put in coins to get his own drink.
What did he want?
"Well look at you," a voice drawled from behind him.
He turned around to face Ami. "Did you need to get a drink? I was just-"
"Trying to figure out what you wanted? Yeah, I noticed. I also noticed how you didn't even have to think about what Taiga wanted. Did she tell you, or did you just know?"
His brow furrowed. "Wha-"
"You just knew, right? This is so sad," she muttered, rolling her eyes and crossing her arms. "You do realize how pathetic this all is, don't you?"
"How pathetic what is?" Ryuuji asked, feeling stupid but genuinely unsure as to what the blue haired model was referring to.
She gave a disgruntled sigh and pushed off of the stair rail she was leaning on. She was so tired of having to watch everything going on with these idiots. And he was so clueless it made her blood boil. He wasn't capable of understanding his own feelings, much less someone else's. Yuusaku might not be too pleased with her for bluntly interfering, but really…
"Are you still chasing after Kushieda?"
A blush rose to his face. "What are you-"
"Oh cut it out already. I mean it. Are you going after her still?"
He didn't answer, too busy blushing and stuttering to respond.
"Of course you are. And that's the right decision, huh? Can you think of what drink she wants off the top of your head? Do you know her nearly as well as you know Taiga?"
He stared at her. "Why does this even matter to you?"
"You won't answer? No, I guess not. And this matters to me because I hate having to watch you three idiots run around each other like headless chickens, stupidly avoiding how the real problem."
"Problem. Listen-"
"No, you listen. You need to stop this, Ryuuji. You need to stop this before someone gets hurt. More hurt. Don't make this worse on any of us."
He gaped at her, stunned at the harshness and passion of her speech.
"…I-"
"Ryuuji!"
They both turned around at the call, Ami taking a step back as Taiga barreled into the nook where the vending machine was.
"Ryuuji!" she shouted, standing in front of him with her arms crossed, ignoring Ami entirely. "I'm hungry! What's taking so long?"
"Ah, sorry," he murmured, scratching the back of his head. "I just had a bit of trouble figuring out what I wanted."
He was so distracted staring at Ami that he didn't even bother scolding her for relying on him to get her food and drink. Or maybe he had stopped doing that a while ago.
She shot Ami a look and then frowned at Ryuuji, before walking past him and pressing a button on the vending machine.
"There, let's go," she ordered, marching back to the classroom with her nose in the air.
Ryuuji bent down and retrieved the drinks. He frowned lightly at Ami's arched eyebrow, diverting his eyes at her piercing stare.
He walked back to the classroom, staring down at the drinks in his hands.
Ami didn't know what she was talking about.
…
Well, there's that.
T.N.T!
