so in english today, we were set a descriptive writing task about a carousel. and somehow, two little boys turned into baby!Klaine. hur hur hur.

i'm glad my teacher didn't ask me to read out..

Sticky hands grabbed at the once-shiny poles, pulling the small children attached up the steps and onto the ride. They tottered about the ride in all different directions, carefully choosing which vehicle they liked best, and somewhat resembling a batch of multi-coloured ping-pong balls, until a small pale boy with brown hair began to wail heartily.

"Mommy, he's in my air-plane!" Kurt lisped, pointing to a chipped red plane, occupied by a boy roughly about the same age, with black floppy curls. The boy in question was currently talking excitedly to a worn toy puppy seated in his lap.

"Baby, how about you sit in this plane here?" Molly asked patiently, pointing to an almost identical plane. Kurt nodded his head, and Molly lifted her tiny son into the plane. Kurt's lip continued to quiver, and tears wobbled on the edge of his eyes as he stared longingly at other plane.

Blaine had looked up from his puppy a while ago, and was now watching the small boy who was staring so longingly at his plane. Blaine felt guilty, as he mildly remembered hearing a voice squeak in the queue, one so very identical to the other boy's, stating that he really wanted to go in the little red plane. Just as Blaine began to get up to offer his plane to Kurt, the ride started.

Kurt noticed the boy occupying his plane stand up, just as the ride started, and then sit abruptly back down again, then watched the expression cross his face. Was he scared of the ride? Kurt was soon distracted by the fact that his green plane rose up and down, whereas, from previous observation, he knew the red plane remained stationary.

When the ride stopped, both boys got off of the ride. Kurt ran to his parents, exclaiming loudly that his plane moved, and both Burt and Molly reassuring him that, yes, they did see how high he was. Blaine hovered cautiously a few feet behind a very animated Kurt. It was only when Molly pointed out that Blaine was patiently waiting to talk to him, that Kurt acknowledged the boy.

"Hi, I'm Blaine." The boy started, "I, um, sat in the red plane on the ride, and I'm really sorry. I was gonna get up and give you my plane, but the ride started." He looked up from his shoes, and looked into Kurt's blue eyes.

"Thank you Blaine, but it's really okay, 'cause my plane moved. I'm Kurt, by the way." Kurt smiled, and stuck out his hand for Blaine to shake.

"Where's your parents?" Kurt asked, after they let go of one another's hands.

"Oh, they left me here for a few hours." Blaine replied, scuffing the dirt with his shoes. Kurt's mouth formed a small 'O' of shock.

"Well, you gotta stay with us!" Kurt exclaimed, taking Blaine's hand again and leading him to the next ride.

Upon discovering Blaine's love of Disney, Kurt turned to his parents and announced, "Mommy, Daddy, this is my best friend Blaine." Molly smiled as Kurt turned back to Blaine, their hands still linked.

Molly (Kurt's mama) belongs to Keitorin Asthore, by the way. she's really awesome, so you should all go read her stuff now if you don't already.

reviews are much appreciated :)
