Just a short drabble about Clara and the Doctor. Based loosely off of the song "Parachute" by Ingrid Michaelson. It doesn't need to be Whouffle if you don't like, but I most certainly wrote it as fluff. Enjoy!

"I never see you anymore, Clara," A redheaded woman complained, sitting on the brunette's bed. "You're always away or being a nanny."

"Being a nanny is my job, Bree," Clara pointed out.

"But where do you go?"

Clara didn't know how to answer. It was terribly difficult to explain all the places she'd been and how she'd got there. Clara even found that she didn't want to tell her friend. What she did with the Doctor was... special. It was hers to keep and she didn't feel like sharing. Unfortunately, Angie popped her head in to ask a favor at that moment.

"She's always off with her new boyfriend," The teenager rolled her eyes. "Anyway, Clara, may I go stay at Nina's? It's all figured out."

"Fine," Clara sighed, a hand to her forehead at her friend's expression.
"Where did you meet this mystery boy?" Bree asked immediately.
Clara smiled to herself, "A snog box."

"Oh my- What's he like?" Bree asked a tad too eagerly.

"He's-" Careful Clara. "He's a Doctor."

"So he's smart?"

"Brilliant," Clara reacted immediately.

"What do you do on these dates?"

He takes me away to the most amazing places. Sometimes we just explore and sometimes we save people, lives, planets. He holds me close when I need it most and when he's afraid he's almost lost me. I think I'm addicted to the adrenaline of holding his hand and running. He only runs because I am something desr to him. Sometimes he slips and calls me "My Clara" in his soft voice and that's the most fantastic feeling. He tells me stories sometimes of his adventures and I know that he makes the world go round. He's going to take me to a beach where you can walk on water and a forest made completely out of psychic foliage that can imitate you and the second moon of andramadon where people worship the frog. He's carved name on a star just because I dared him to. He wears a ridiculous bow tie that I think is cool because he does. Sometimes it goes lopsided and I have to fix it for him. Even when there's not a planet or a time, there's always adventure by his side. We swam in the pool and fell asleep on a raft. We read in the library and sometimes he'll take my hand in his because he can. I think that he is lonely but I help him. I will stay by his side to the end of my time, which I very well might meet there because he is dangerous. He is dangerous and exhilarating and I think I might love him. I think I might love him at least twice a day and it's hard to not. But I have a trick to not fall in love because he is a timelord and one day he just might not come back for me in time.

Clara smiled to herself, "You could say he sweeps me off my feet."

"So what-"

Her friend was interupted by a faint wooshing in the backyard. Clara grinned and jumped up, running down the stairs without a thought. The kids were out and she was free. She opened the box and stepped inside, ignoring the muffled calls of her name. The Doctor peered at her curiously as she ran to his side and nudged him.

"Take me somewhere awesome, space boy," She smirked at him.

"You're the boss."
