A/N: Relax, I'm not starting another story…soon, this is just here because I've had it for a while and I just want to put it up. Although I am contemplating doing something with it, so they will probably be more, just not soon.

Summary: Jackson wants something Scott has, something Scott claims as his. Read on if you want to know what it is.

"You're the Omega and -." Scott hisses out, he is constantly reminding Jackson that. But he stops himself, because Derek told him not to, not to act like they're rivals. Scott inhales before continuing, "All I'm saying is my rank is higher, and I'm not trying to be condescending or an ass."

"I bet you love this, don't you McCall? This higher status thing you have over me, well enjoy it because it won't last. I am getting stronger, Derek said so himself."

Scott's eyes narrow as Jacksons keeps talking, "Yea, Derek said I'm getting stronger, he said I'm almost ready to become a Beta, so watch out I might just take your place and-."

Scott growls warningly, taking a step forward and reveling in the way Jackson steps back, "And what?" How dare he? Jackson wants his place in the pack, "I earned my place, and I will fight to keep it." Scott reins it in, his anger, not wanting to disappoint Derek but the creak in the locker as his fingers force in show so much.

"Y-You know what fuck you, McCall." His eyes flash blue for a second, but he controls it, Derek's been teaching Jackson control.

Scott smiles, Jackson's nervous. There's no way to deny the stutter or the pinch of fear brimming around Jackson. "Whatever Jackson, I know you smell it, I'm not sharing." He refuses to.

Jackson sneers, "As if it's really up to you." His arms fold over his puffed out chest, trying to appear bigger than he is, "We both know that's not your call."

Scott tries a different approach, "Dude, we're a pack. We make each other stronger, you need to let go of this status thing." But it's not simply about status; though Jackson's haughty behavior towards Scott is becoming wearisome, they've been edging around the real issue for weeks.

Jackson's stance says I don't care, "What are we going to do about this? Hmm, McCall?" His tone suddenly light and mocking, so inappropriate for this conversation.

Scott doesn't want to deal with this right now, so he's going to push it aside, knowing that this problem is not going to just disappear on its own. "I know he talked to you, and I know you want to please him." Jackson reeks of approval gratification, "And Derek said we have to be a pack. I don't want to upset him, do you?"

Jackson's like an open book, there's no need to smell. Scott watches as a series of emotion flicker across his face: annoyance, frustration, anger, resentment and finally agreement. "Fine." It's not, and it won't be.

It's not a win; it's more like a compromise, and Scott clenches his fist in anger, letting out constrained breaths as Jackson leaves the locker room. He takes it out on a locker, the indentation of his fist prominent.

Jackson has too much pride to let this go, and Scott's stubborn, this impasse they've come to is going to make things ugly. Neither plan on backing down. But Scott can only think of one word, mine.

Derek is more than his mentor, more than his Alpha, Scott kind of considers Derek his.

Note: It's vague but I hope you get the idea. Scott and Jackson bickering over Derek, I thought it would be interesting and entertaining. So please review.
