How could someone so brave and courageous die? How could someone filled with life and joy disappear? How could a man who loved living his days every day just go away and never come back?

No one talked during breakfast at the Burrow. Fleur held onto her husband's hand tightly, while taking a bite out of her eggs. Bill, Charlie and Percy stared into their plates, as the time went by. Ron and Ginny tried to pass the time by playing wizard chess. Molly was crying into the sink, washing dishes, as her husband silently read the Daily Prophet, hiding his tear streaked face. In the living room, the fire surged up the chimney and hunched over a box of fireworks, George Weasley sat, no tears rushing down his face, no traces of sadness in his eyes, not even a single weep, sob, or howl was heard from him.

Molly and Arthur left early, to ready their son's funeral, making sure everything was in order. The rest got dressed upstairs, awaiting the ceremony approaching. George was the last one downstairs, waiting as the time went by.

It's all just a prank. Fred loves to pull pranks. He never died, he didn't.

Those words kept running through his mind and as the time drew nearer his older brothers gathered around him.

"George, we have to go." Bill whispered, patting his back, "You need to get ready."

George merely shook his head and didn't budge. His brothers tried after a while, attempting to console him and get him dressed.

"Why?" he whispered as he traced his finger around a firework, "Why would I go to his funeral, if he's not dead."

His brothers shared dark glances and they tried pulling him up, but George wouldn't shift.

"Just…just leave him." Charlie whispered and Bill stared at him.

"And tell mum what? The twin of her dead son, doesn't want to attend his twin's funeral?" Bill yelled loud enough for Fleur to walk in, an apprehensive look in her eyes. She pointed to her watch and said, "It's time."

The Weasley children and Fleur all left the Burrow, disappearing with a pop. The only thing missing was George, who was curled up in a ball, by the fire, burning pictures of old memories, the faces darkening as the scorching flames charred the remaining happiness in the Burrow.
