"Hey Cas, come help me with this cake. I swear to god if Sammy catches us he's never gonna let me live it down."
Castiel smirked at the thought of the younger Winchester endlessly teasing Dean. He'd always found their bickering amusing, much to Dean's annoyance.
"Okay, I'll put my book away first."
The Angel had been reading a fictional book series on Demons, another thing he found amusing. The depictations of Demons in his book were by far, not nearly grotesque enough to match the true form of a Demon. He couldn't help himself though, he was intrigued to see what the human imagination had conjured up.
He slotted the book into its place on his bookshelf and made his way back through to the kitchen and to Dean. The sight that met him was far more amusing than Winchester bickering and the human imagination combined, well, to Castiel it was. The normally 'manly' Dean Winchester was all aproned up and busy whisking away furiously at a bowl of frosting. Walking closer he realised Dean had a dab of flour on the end of his nose.
As Dean was entirely too preoccupied with whisking the frosting, he had yet to notice Castiel's arrival. Which gave the dark haired Angel the opportunity to surprise Dean, creeping up behind him and sliding his arms around Dean's waist.
"Oh, there you are." Dean grinned, turning his head to see the perpetrator of the surprise hug, who was then leaning over his shoulder with a dopey smile plastered on his face. Leaning in, he kissed Castiel on the lips softly, and in turn Castiel's dopey smile bloomed into a full force grin.
"Dean, have you been eating the frosting? I can taste it." He teased, watching heat momentarily flush Dean's face before his usual cheeky boyish demeanour returned.
"You're telling me that you've never swiped some frosting before the cake was done?"
Castiel shook his head, that had always been Gabriel's thing. He had learned a long time ago to never mess with Gabriel's confectionery.
Dean put the bowl down and turned to face Castiel, and before Castiel could think, Dean had trailed frosting along his lower lip. He then leaned in, licking off most of the frosting.
"You know, you taste sweeter than the frosting."
Castiel hit Dean playfully and then cupped Dean's cheeks, moving their faces close together.
"Then stop licking the frosting." He whispered, voice laced with want. Castiel grazed he lips against Dean's, brushing lightly before drawing back.
"If you want some frosting on your cake, you know where I'll be."
Castiel smirked seductively and left the room. He gave it 10 seconds before Dean busted in.
Turns out he could have his cake and eat it too.
