America truly hated paperwork, especially after an already-long day of meetings, government-stuff, and having tea with Britain (which was stressful, within itself).
Therefore, he was already in a sour mood when Russia stormed into his office.
"America! We need to talk!" Russia demanded. The large Nation looked tired with how pale he was, and the dark circles under his eyes.
"Russia! Dude! Not the best time; I got TONS of crap to do today-"
"This can not wait America!" Russia growled, plopping down in the chair across from the other Nation.
Ever since the Cold War, the relations between the two Nations had been strained, to say the least. However, things HAD been getting better recently.
Therefore, seeing Russia so...ill-looking and worked-up...well, it made America rather worried.
"What's up, dude?" America asked, pushing the papers aside.
Russia ignored him, instead looking around America's office. The office was painted in ridiculously bright colors, but it was still comfortable-feeling.
America's eyes widened, as Russia's violet eyes became shiny—shinier than normal.
Russia...R-Russia was CRYING!
The large Nation bowed his head as silvery tears ran down his now-splotchy face. "A-America..." Russia covered his face with his gloved hands.
America was by Russia's side in a second. "Russia! What's wrong? Are you hurt?"
Russia shook his head. "I feel so silly...but I'm so s-scared..."
America squeezed Russia; he suddenly realized how thin Russia had become. It was obvious that whatever had scared Russia was affecting him greatly.
"Russia? What happened?"
Russia pulled away, swallowing. "I...I will try to tell you...but it's just so..." He shuddered, and America hugged him, once again.
"Don't worry. I will be here for you..."
Russia nodded. "Da...I-I was just tending to my sunflowers, when it happened...I decided to look over at little Alaska—JUST FOR A MINUTE! but it was enough..."
America nodded, gesturing for Russia to continue.
"There was a woman there, just standing...and s-staring. STARING AT ME!" Russia started crying again. "I would have thought nothing of it, really...but then she said in this HAUNTING voice...: I can see you from my house..." Russia buried his face in America's shoulder. "It was so scary! And she keeps doing it! SHE KEEPS STARING AT MY LANDMASS!"
America hugged Russia tightly. "There there..."
A/N I have issues. I really think I need to be put in a mental institution, honestly...
Yes. Well. Please review!
