Annabeth sighed in pleasure, she had finished unpacking and her dorm room looked perfect. She had blueprints on the walls that were designs meant for Olympus, Her desk had a brand new laptop with color coded sticky notes and pencils for her various subjects, and her closet was neat and uniform. It was without a doubt Annabeth's room. The only problem was her roommate not having the same appreciation for tidiness. Her roommate was Reyna. She was not exactly sloppy by any means but Annabeth took real pride in how she arranged her room and Reyna did not exactly share the enthusiasm.

Reyna was at school only because she had retired as Praetor. She promoted Hazel Levesque the senior Centurion from the fifth cohort so she could get some reprieve. After the war with Gaea she was done with the irritation that is being a demigod. Annabeth could relate, after all Percy and she had defeated not one but two major foes in the last year. Kronos was difficult, Gaea was stressful. She just needed to relax and delve into studies to keep her mind off the God's affairs in the mortal world. She was grateful that Percy had suggested college in New Rome.

Speaking of the devil, she heard a knock on the door behind her. Annabeth opened the door to be greeted by her magnificent boyfriend Percy Jackson. He was slightly taller than her at around five foot eleven where as she was five foot seven. His hair was lazily swept to the side and not combed, almost as if he had just gotten out of bed. His eyes were the shade of the Ocean on a summer day, sea green with a hint of light blue. His hair was the color of raven feathers, deep black. And his smile made her heart do a backflip.

"Hey Wise Girl, you wanna head to the mess hall and grab some of that cheesecake they were advertising?" Percy asked.

She thought for a moment on the question, a question that seemed like it was so innocent compared to all that they had been through. She smiled.

"of course, Seaweed Brain, let's go. Hey Reyna, I am gunna hit the mess hall with Percy. I'll see you later!"

She watched her roommate with interest, she waved her off and Annabeth took that as a sign of "go ahead and have fun". As she shut the door Percy grabbed her hand and intertwined his fingers in between hers and she leaned on him slightly. As they walked down the hall she couldn't help but be curious.

"Percy what classes are you taking this semester?" He smiled again and responded. "Annabeth you helped me sign up for them and you've asked me that question every day for the last week. I am taking the basic marine biology courses they offer remember?"

It was true, she had asked multiple times about his classes. She couldn't help it, when he said what his classes were it reminded her that this was real and that they were indeed going to college together. It didn't bother her at all that he had pointed out her asking many times, it just made her smile even more.

"Percy, I love you."

"I love you too Annabeth, to Tartarus and back."
