DISCLAIMER: I own nothing, sigh.
"The girl in the mirror," Hermione began, "is perfect. Ha, yeah right." A tear slipped down her cheek. "She's ugly. She's a know-it-all. She's a horrible, bossy, annoying bitch. She's… me." she said a bit louder. "She's me, and she's terrible, and I hate her more than anything." Hermione sat back against the cool stone wall of the prefects bathroom. Her razorblade was in her hand. She relied on it to help her through the pain and sadness and loneliness she faced at Hogwarts. She alone from the Golden Trio had returned to finish out her schooling at Hogwarts.
A few others from her year had returned, but Harry and Ron had gone off to Auror training, leaving Hermione alone. Six months ago, Hermione had found out that Ron had been cheating on her for quite a while with some Ministry slut. She had no friends at Hogwarts. Three months ago, she had shockingly begun dating Draco Malfoy, something no one had expected. They had been in love, but Hermione had broken up with him a week ago, and they hadn't spoken since.
More tears cam, hot and fast staining her cheeks. Hermione lowered the thin blade to her arm, prepared to make the first cut that would relieve her pain, when Draco lifted his expertly cast Dillusionment Charm. "She's beautiful, she's amazing, smart, and kind. She's anything anyone could ever want and more. Most importantly, though, she's mine." Draco took the razorblade from Hermione and tosses it into the trashcan. "She's you, Hermione, and I love you more than anything in the world. Please don't pick up that razorblade again." he begged, love and concern filling his steel grey eyes. "I swear, Draco. I love you too, so much." Draco smirked. "I'm glad, love." Then he pulled her into a long searing kiss.
