(imperfection makes for perfection, in a world falling from the heavens) - the observation of a paradox.
.
Everything is calculated - it's a rule of this world.
Time ticks and the world moves. Every action has an equal opposite, an equal return. So time ticks and the world moves - to its demise, to its prosperity, to stagnation. It's all in the actions of this world. And actions are often as calculated as the value of numbers. There is no such thing as 'impulse' or 'feeling'. Just the calculation of thought. As a result, everything has already been determined.
The future can be foretold. It all starts at the beginning, and the beginning is the day of choice. When the world began, and time made its march. When the books were opened and history slowly detailed the actions that would define the future.
That is your view of the world. A view of calculated movements and cold facts - and it works well, with the only desire and the only dream you have. You want to become a detective, to unravel the mysteries of humanity with logic and theory, until there comes a day where a mystery is presented and you cannot solve it through mere calculation alone. To be proved wrong about the nature that is the world itself.
-and so, by the whims of a certain god or a certain devil, your wish is granted.
On some fateful day, lost in the fog of time, you met a half-dying Amano Yukiteru - your heart stopped and turned and twirled in the chaotic midst that is fate's timely works, and the world begins to move a little differently after that. Things seem curiously brighter and lighter. Patience, peace, content. Logic twists and morphs to the favor of your biased opinions. Ah, so this is what they call - beauty? Desire? Love?
For many more moments after, you consider humanity's devotion to impulses and feelings. They are as they are, rogue things to the mechanical clockwork of the world, things that cannot be calculated in defined words and fixed values - and that is alright with you, now.
So time ticks and the world moves - to a future you cannot divine any longer.
