"Annabeth, I love you so much," whispered Percy.

"Percy, leave me alone!" Cried Annabeth. "Can't you see that I'm working? You never let me work! What kind of boyfriend are you? It's like what I do doesn't matter to you." Percy began to cry silently. "Don't you dare try that baby business on me! I know you're not really crying, you're just trying to make me feel bad. I bet the only reason you came was to bother me! You know what? We're done! I don't want to have to bother with you."

"Annabeth, I'm so sorry! I really and truly do love you. The reason I came wasn't to bother you. I only wanted to say happy birthday." Then he ran out the door.

Seven days later

"Chiron, I still can't find Percy! I have looked for him everywhere! I don't even know why he disappeared!" cried Annabeth.

"Annabeth, my child, please tell me everything that happened on the day that he left."

"Well it was my birthday, and he came in to tell me happy birthday and I started yelling at him about how he was a bad boyfriend and how I hated him and I broke up with him and, well he was crying and I said that he was pretending to so that he can make me feel bad. Then, sobbing, he ran away and I didn't know where he went."

"Annabeth, do you realize what you just did? You told the most loyal person on earth, whose fatal flaw is even loyalty, that he was not a good or loyal boyfriend and that you didn't like him. Do you realize what that could've done to him?"

Annabeth started to cry. Then Percy walked up and he his arms around her. "What's wrong, sweetheart?" he asked. Annabeth just stared at him.

"Are you mad?" she asked.

"Why would I be mad?" he countered.

"Well, after the way I treated you, you ran away and there's no reason for you not to be mad at me," said Annabeth.

"I'm sorry. I realized I was wrong to be so upset. What you said was true and I realized that so I decided to come back and tell you how sorry I am."

"Percy, please listen to me without interrupting. You are the best boyfriend a girl like me could ever ask for you're completely wrong to think that I didn't love you. To think that you were a bad boyfriend. Nothing that I said that day was true! I was just upset because that night I had dreamed about you cheating on me with Clarisse, which I know you would never do. I overreacted and said some things that you should never have heard. I don't hate you, I love you with my life. I know that you had probably wanted to spend the day with me, doing something special and I ruined it. I hope you can forgive me and become my boyfriend again. I love you so much, Percy. Always have and always will. And if you want me to get on my knees and beg for you back–"

Percy cut her off with a long, passionate kiss that left Annabeth hanging onto him with dear life. "I love you too sweetheart."

"Percy, I don't deserve you."

"Wrong. You deserve much more than me," Percy replied.

Annabeth stuck her tongue out. "Race ya to the Pavilion?" she asked.

Percy took off while she waited for an answer.

"Hey! No fair! You cheated!"

Percy kissed her, and then carried her bridal style to her table. "Love you! See ya later."
