Summary: A short –very short- Ficlet thing. Forgive me for the shortness, but it is cute and I beg you to read it. Sirius tells a bad joke.
It was only a few weeks until the end of school term and year, meaning that the next time that Remus Lupin set foot in this school, He was be in his sixth year, along with his fellow marauders, Sirius, Peter and James. However, just because school year was nearly over, did not mean that Remus stopped reading or completing schoolwork. No! Of course not! Remus Lupin was, at this very moment in the Library, sitting across the far from serious, Sirius.
"So this wolf walks into this bar, what does he say?"
"I need to find friends who aren't heartless bastards?" Replied Remus absently, turning the page of one particularly musty book.
"NO! He says 'ouch!' Get it?"
Remus looked up from his book, raising an eyebrow in a very unimpressed way at a chuckling Sirius, who had long ago discarded his books. Although Sirius seemed to find this joke increasing funny every time he told it (Sirius repeated it at least three times a day, if not more) Remus was growing more and more tired of it, But Remus had to give it to Sirius, He wasn't the brightest crayon in the box.
Sirius sobered up and studiously opened up a book, pursing his lips in an uncanny resemblance of Remus and reached his finger to slide pretend, invisible glasses back up the bridge of his nose.
"Terribly sorry old chap, It seems to me that you have lost your humor." And to add to Sirius comment –which was said in the most ridiculous voice- Sirius waggled his eyebrows at the werewolf, who continued to look unimpressed and ignored the thumps that sounded behind him from a couple of fan-girls fainting dead away.
However, a smooth smile rippled across Remus' lips, as he shook his head and sighed with disappointment with himself. From this reaction, Sirius smiled lazily pursing his lips again.
"I am sorry Remus, I do tell that joke an awful lot…" Sirius apologized sincerely, but Remus simply leant over and ruffled his black hair in a purely mate-like way.
"It's all right Sirius…I was always partial to puppies." He replied, and settled back in his chair, leaving Sirius to ponder about the under-laying meaning beneath those words.
Partial to puppies?
The End.
