The moon shone brightly on the clear ocean. A strawberry blonde girl with light brown highlights was walking on the beach. She took a long breath of fresh ocean air and sighed.

"I can't believe I'm going back to Forget-Me-Not Valley..," she murmured. "It's been so long. I bet it'll be better than this."

"You're going?" A small voice interruputed the girl's thoughts. "You're really leaving?" The girl turned around to see a small girl with black hair and brown eyes staring at her.

"Oh, Marley. I'm leaving, yes. I'm going back to the place I was born," the girl said, her blue eyes sad. Marley ran towards her and hugged her tightly.

"But, Emilie! You said you would always stay with me!" Marley said, tearing up. Her tears stained Emilie's nice white skirt. Emilie knelt down.

"I will be. In here, and I'll visit, I promise." Emilie patted where Marley's heart would be. Marley sobbed. Emilie hugged her.

"Don't worry, little sister. In one year on your 7th birthday, I will come. I wouldn't miss it for the world."
