13 reasons why, if Hannah Baker didn't kill herself.
It was evening. Hannah Baker had just arrived to the party. She was rather annoyed to discover, that her so called friend, Courtney Crimsen, thought of her as only a driver. I've to try to enjoy the party anyway, Hannah thought.
Clay wasn't sure, why he'd went to the party. Maybe it was, because he had heard, Hannah might be there. He was glad to discover, that Hannah was at the party. This is it, I'll never get a second chance, Clay thought, as he walked over to Hannah.
"Hi Hannah" Clay said.
"Hi Clay" Hannah said.
Clay noticed, Hannah's glass was empty, and poured half of his beer into her glass.
"Let's find a place to sit" Clay said and lead Hannah over to a couch.
Hannah and Clay sat down in the couch. They started talking. The conversation flooded naturally. Why didn't I talk to Clay before, Hannah thought.
"So what do you think of school?" Clay asked.
"I don't know, I don't have a lot of friends, and I don't like the classes" Hannah answered.
"I can be your friend, if you want" Clay said.
"That'd be nice" Hannah said and smiled.
"I can be more than your friend" Clay said.
"I think, it's the beer speaking" Hannah said.
"No, seriously, I like you Hannah, I took the job in the cinema just to be with you" Clay said.
"Really?" Hannah asked.
"Yes" Clay said, suddenly he looked very sober.
Hannah was silent. What do I do with this information, I like Clay, but I don't know, if I like him this way, she thought.
"Want to dance?" Hannah asked Clay to fill the embarrassing silence.
"Sure" Clay said.
Hannah and Clay went to the dance floor. Clay took Hannah's hands, and they started dancing.
"I really like this song" Hannah told Clay.
What have I done? Clay asked himself. Will everything ever return to normal between me and Hannah? I've ruined it. We were connecting, but I blew it. We can never have a normal relationship now.
"Listen Clay, I like you, but I don't know, how I like you, all these feelings are confusing me, we connected back there in the couch, but my life's just complicated right now" Hannah said.
Complicated isn't exactly the right word, it's more like suicidal, Hannah thought.
"I don't care, what you think, we connected, and I'm not letting anything come between us, if you're having a bad time, I'll be your support, I'll be the one, you can call in the middle of the night, do you get, what I'm saying, I'll be there for you" Clay said.
"Oh Clay" Hannah said and hugged him.
"I've got you now, and I'll never let go of you again" Clay said.
Hannah never killed herself. She lived with Clay happily ever after. She told Clay, exactly how bad her life was, together they handled it. After high school Hannah became a psychologist, she helped girls, who had the same problems, as she had had. Everything was good.
A/N This is how, 13 reasons why should've ended. Happily and all. It's an amazing book. I feel all happy, I wrote this.
