Have you ever met someone famous? Well I have, and I am, so here's my story.
I had arrived in Los Angeles a few hours ago and had gotten around to unpacking. Only an hour ago though, I was looking for a nice apartment in Hollywood near Rocque Records. So after finding an apartment both my Mom and I agreed on, I found myself in the penthouse of the Palmwoods. It was an ok place after where I had stayed but my Mother, Sheena had paid an extra $800 dollars so I may redecorate the apartment to my liking and had struck up a deal with the manager, , which I thought was a fitting name. Anyways, I was to stay in my own penthouse, no adult supervision, except for a woman named Ms. Knight who would occasionally drop in on me. My mother said she would've stayed, but the Palmwoods, weren't her "style," which no child should hear from one of their parents. The real hooker about the Palmwoods for me though, was the pool. It was a wonderfully large and open pool and there were lots of people. It was wonderful. So now, here I was in the middle of LA with almost no parental supervision. It was every 15-year old's dream and now my new reality. this life also came with a recording contract and a penthouse to boot! After my mom had dropped me off, I quickly made a mental list of things I had to do today. These things included, unpacking, deciding a color scheme for the penthouse, rehearsing and then meeting people at the Palmwoods. After happily doing the first two things, I realized that, lately, my whole life seemed to be revolved around rehearsing my singing. See, I was known as an "aspiring singer" which was rare because I had no musical background, just a fashion one. But I didn't see it that way. To me I was just a girl with always-busy parents and a few extra hours of vocal lessons and practices per day. In fact, I would trade it all for a normal lifestyle. But then my parents wouldn't be living their dream. So after wiping away a tear, I decided that I control my own life. So, I donned my favorite purple bikini and without even thinking back on the urge telling me to practice before playing, I was off to the Palmwood's pool.
The pool was just as busy as I remembered, if not busier. Suddenly I heard a wolf whistle and blushed, looking down. When I looked back up, there were a lot of people staring. It was actually quite unnerving. As I crossed my arms over my stomach, I realized I was feeling really self conscious and I was mentally kicking myself for not wearing a sun dress or some kind of cover up. Then, just as I was about to turn and walk back inside, I heard someone say, "Hi, my name's Logan. Nice to meet you." I looked him over appraisingly. Medium height, dark hair and a tan, pretty good looking. So I reached out a hand and shook his, saying, "Hi, I'm Iris Henley. As you probably realized, I'm new her." Then as our two hands connected, I felt a shock pass our hands and I looked at them confusedly, wondering what caused that reaction. I then slowly raised my head up to look at this boy, Logan's, wondering if he had an explanation for this strange occurance. He then looked at me the same way, seeming to wonder if I had put a prank shocker on my hands. Seeing as I didn't his lips slowly stretched out into a grin and he backed away… making me excited for what L.A. would bring me.
