It was over.
She woke up against someone - him -and realized what had brought her out of her unusual state, and it was him who she was now kissing.
It was him, he had kissed her. He had said something, and then he had gotten up, released from whatever had control of him, and kissed her. Then she had fallen back to earth.
She looked around and saw the crumpled body of her enemy beside her, silently relieved, and closed her eyes again, only to remember that her savior, whom she had pined after for the past months, had a girlfriend. She leapt back.
"What are you doing?"
"I-" he raised a had and scratched the back of his neck. "I don't know."
"You shouldn't have done that," she said, biting her lip. "You have Asami, and she's my friend,"
He grabbed his other arm and looked at the floor. "I told you once I was confused, but..." then he looked up at her, and seemed to regain his confidence. "I'm not anymore." he took one step forward and Korra felt herself relax.
"But, she's your girlfriend, and my friend,"
"She's not anymore," he said. "We talked, before we came into the headquarters. She saw it before I could, and we decided...maybe I was ignoring something thats been there all along." He looked back up to her, enough to catch a hint of small smiled.
"Are you finally admitting that you like me, city boy?" She asked smugly.
"What I'm saying is," he reached to touch her face.
"I really like you and I think we're meant to be together."
She smiled and leaned in.
"That makes two of us."
