Her hair was pulled back sloppily. Doesn't make a difference to me, she's just as beautiful as ever. Strands of her gorgeous red hair fell in every direction, she dawned one of my hoodies from high school as she carried the overflowed laundry basket. The bags under her eyes were clearly visible, you'd think after all those years of teen crime fighting we could handle two kids…well, we can, but it's definitely a harder task than expected. I hate that she's always so exhausted, but she has to do a lot because I need to work. We aren't as financially stable as I wish. I hate that I can't properly provide for our family without abandoning poor Kim. "Hey Kim?"

She stopped on the first step descending downward, "Yeah, Ron?"

"We need to have a date night. I know you're stressed out and I haven't been here as much as I would like to…" I trailed off, I couldn't quite place my thoughts into words.

"Oh Ron," she sighed, "we can't afford a date night, and you're doing the best you can. You need to work, so I need to handle the kids, it's alright."

"No, it's not. I need to be here for our kids…I need to be here for you."

A small smile formed on her lips, "How about we have a little date-in night right now? I can save the laundry for tomorrow."

I walked up behind her and took the laundry basket, "Or I can do the laundry, cook you some late night snackage, then we'll watch a movie…your choice," I smiled as she turned around and kissed me.

"Ew!" our oldest, eight year old Matt, said.

I turned out of our kiss, "Why are you still up, Matt?"

"Eliza asked me to get one of you, she had a nightmare…"

"Why were you in Eliza's room?" I inquired, as our son usually cringes at the thought of getting along with-let alone comforting-his five year old sister.

"I..uh…" he looked down and mumbled, "had one too…"

"I'll handle Eliza," Kim said, turning around.

"No, I'll get them to sleep. Go pick out a movie."

She smiled, "Alright, be quick." She went down the steps, but not before winking at me.

When I got to the living room after calming two upset kids and getting some nacos for us, I found Kim sitting on the couch with Bricks of Fury. "Kim, what are you doing? I said it's your choice."

"Ronald Stoppable, you are an amazing father and husband. Don't sell yourself short. You work your butt off so we have the means to live by and, even more than that, you love us unconditionally. I love you, never ever forget that."

I grinned slightly, "I just want to provide for our family and you do so much-"

"So do you." She interjected.

"And I just want to be the best, because you deserve it." I sat next to her and kissed her. Marrying Kim was the best decision I ever made.

"This doesn't change anything though, Ron, you deserve to be pampered too. So, Bricks of Fury or I'm going to bed," she said with a playful jab to my stomach.

I grinned, "I can live with that, Mrs. Stoppable." She ended up falling asleep halfway through the movie, but while she was awake we paid no attention to the movie, just each other. And even after ten years of marriage and two children to prove it, I still get butterflies every time she falls asleep in my lap and I am still awestruck by her beauty. I looked down at her and smiled, kissing her on the forehead.
