This is something I've wanted to do for a while, and I've finally done it.
Just one tiny little push.
Bone trembled slightly as his tiny, kitlike leader nearly toppled off the roof.
One little push, and he would rule.
Bone nodded mutely at his leader's attempt to make feeble conversation.
One little push, and the antlike twolegs below would wonder what terrible tragedy had happened above.
Scourge stumbles slightly, and regains his balance as he shakes off the threat of falling to his tiny, insignificant death.
One little push, right then, and Bone would have ruled.
But why?
To maintain superiority.
That look of surprise crossing his face, the horror at what his loyal deputy had done, at what he had done in trusting him.
He would have been lower than Bone. Lower than everything. Just a pile of bones and blood among panicking twolegs.
As Bone falls asleep that night, he sees Scourge walk past, grumbling slightly.
As Bone's eyes close, he can't help but think what he could have done.
Just one little push...
