He is powerful in the way that people with dreams often are, and that's the thing with dreams, isn't it? They have the power to instill even the most broken hearts and minds, with a power much stronger, much rarer than any ninjutsu or genjutsu.
His dream is a deceptively simple one: become a fine shinobi, but whether by some divine joke or random accident, his dream would become a life long struggle. A struggle that could only end in greatness, because that's the thing with dreams, isn't it?
Dreams ignite passion. It can be seen in the dead set of his mouth as he turns up his palms to face his opponent. His honor is unquestionable in the face of all adversity. His wide, dark eyes don't waiver. This shinobi has a name.
Dreams make one determined. No matter the pain or the odds, he fights. He doesn't lose sight of the goal, of the dream. It rests behind his jet black hair. This shinobi has a name.
Dreams spark the youthful love of life. It's apparent in the way he carries himself. The confidence to stand tall, yet the humility to admit ones mistakes. The courage to fight for frivolous, necessary things like love and, more importantly, the courage to keep fighting. He makes this promise, one thumb up, smile blinding in it's honesty. This shinobi has a name.
That's the thing with dreams, isn't it? Despite the walls and the hate in front of him, he has the passion the face it head on with honor. Despite the seeming futility of his battle, he's determined to see it though. Despite the time that goes by, he looks at life through a pair of sunglasses that are whatever color he wants. This shinobi has a name that's almost comical in its appropriateness.
This shinobi can't use ninjutsu or genjutsu. This shinobi was put down time and time again. They told him he would never reach that dream.
This shinobi had a sensei with the comical, yet appropriate name of Might Guy, who told him the thing about dreams.

This shinobi has a name.
His name is Rock Lee, and he will be a fine shinobi.
As usual...
Thanks for reading. Review, if you please? I'm doing more like this so feel free to put in a request of a character.
P.S. Got pretty carried away with the repetition there didn't I? I based it, just a little, on "I Have a Dream" by Martin Luther King Jr. Nowhere near that good obviously, but I like the concept and thought I'd adapt it...anyway...
Later gators.
