Mother, I Miss You
AN: Crack pairing! :D Self-explanatory if you ask me. 'Cause Shin and Kayashima are love~ 3 Especially since Yamamoto Yusuke is so ADORABLY hot. 3 Short drabble. I may do a longer one if this pairing is somewhat popular.
Disclaimer: I do not own any part of Hana Kimi.
Shin sighed depressingly. It was that time of year, his mother's anniversary. Well, his first mother's death anniversary. He moodily sucked on his juice box, crushing it in his hand after he finished it. At times like this, he wished he could remember. The only memory that he could remember of his mother was of faintly sweet-smelling lavender soap, the freshly-laundered white sheets hanging in the sun, blowing in the background, and a woman with a kindly warm smile calling out his name. He closed his eyes and tried to hear more of the voice.
"Shin!"
"Shin!"
"Shin!"
"Shin."
The melodic smooth voice broke him out of his reverie. Shin looked up in surprise, grunting while shielding his eyes from the bright sunlight that pierced the sky. A figure loomed up in his peripheral view. Kayashima held out his hand with good intentions to help Shin up. Shin accepted, nodding thanks. A companionable silence fell between the two as Kayashima observed the person in front of him.
"You know, she's still here."
Shin was startled out of his reverie as Kayashima spoke. He spoke so softly that even Shin wasn't sure if he heard correctly or not.
"She's still here, your mother."
Kayashima clarified and poked the general area over Shin's heart. Shin backed up in surprise and then closed his eyes as he accepted it.
"Ah."
Kayashima smiled softly. In the meanwhile, a woman smiled in the sky as Kayashima gave her a thumbs-up.
The End~
Sorry, couldn't resist that little sentence in the end. xD
