This is another Flinx type story and hopefully they'll be in character. I'm crossing my fingers! This story is going to take place after light speed.

Jinx sighed in relief as the hot liquid made its way down her throat. Hot chocolate was good. Jinx was having a drink at her favorite coffee shop in town. She had actually paid for her drink this time. She exited the coffee shop and took a seat on the bench outside.

She'd been on her own for a week now. She had left the Hive Five with as much money as she could carry in her pocket. She didn't feel she was cut out for work. Who would hire a person with ex-villainess on their resume? No, Jinx wasn't cut out for a job.

The problem with that was she was almost out of money already. She couldn't go back the Hive Five not after… She just couldn't go back. She had gone a little soft since a week ago. She was also determined not to let it show.

She hadn't seen Kid Flash lately, but she knew he was watching her. Every once in awhile she would feel a gust of wind on a windless day or see a flash of bright yellow. She wondered why he'd care.

"Well, it is pretty obvious he has a crush on me." She told herself with a sigh.

"Who does?" She jumped in her seat as she looked over to see Flash. She knew this encounter wasn't going to be pleasant for her when she saw his wide grin.

"Oh, It's you." She said unenthused as she looked down at her drink before taking a sip.

"AW, you remembered." He said sarcastically before staring at her.

"What?" She asked slightly annoyed.

"You look different that's all." He told her as he narrowed his eyes as if attempting to find what was new. She blushed but still managed to glare at him.

"Do you have make-up on?" he asked suddenly.

"Yeah, so what?" She asked him and he shrugged.

"It looks nice." He told her honestly.

"Look, what do you want Flash. I'm kinda busy right now." That was lying through her teeth, but who cared. He raised his eyebrows.

"Yeah, you look real busy. I was just check-up on a pretty lady. Can't a super hero do that?" He asked sweetly. She rolled her eyes at him. Didn't he have better things to do?

"No, a super hero can't do that if the girl is evil." She told him.

"I know that. You, however, are not evil."

"Oh, is that right?"

"Yes it is. I mean you've been on your own for almost a week now. Have you stolen anything?" He asked her. She didn't answer. She turned away from him.

"Why can't you just leave me alone?" she whispered.

"Do you really want me to?" He asked her and he sounded surprised that she would want him gone.

"…"

"I'll see you later Jinx." Kid Flash told her and then he was gone. She looked over to where he had been and sure enough there was a red rose left on the bench. She shook her head and let a small smile take a hold of her face as she picked the rose up and took one last sip of hot chocolate.

"I'll see you later Kid Flash." She whispered.

I could make this a story if you guys think this is good. PLEASE REVIEW!
