"Uggh, im so bored" Dipper groaned. you can't blame the poor kid though. buisness is slow, Mabel's busy knitting and Wendy had already snuck out. Even Stan had already started playing hooky thanks to the lack of tourists. And after the spending the previous day being chased by vampire squirrels, he honestly wanted to avoid solving mysteries for a few days.
"I wonder if there's anything on right now" he groaned, grabbing the remote. After flipping through a sitcom, the news, some cooking show and a Twilight movie, he came across a concert video of BABBA.
"Dipper" Mabel came skipping in. "Disco girl, coming through" she found her dear brother, dancing and singing along to his favorite song. "that girl is you...uuuuuu" turning around, Dipper pointed his finger at Mabel, and the starry excitement in his eyes died along with his voice. Awkward.
"Oh, I forgot to knock" Mabel said, leaving the room. Merely seconds later she re-entered with a polite knock. "Dipper" she regreeted with the same cheeriness.
"Oh, what is it?" he turned to face her. Instead of dancing he was now just sitting on the floor with some pit cola.
"I see, It must've been my imagination after all" Mabel sighed in realization. "I thought I saw Dipper singing to BABBA and shaking his butt" she told.
"I-impossible. I wouldn't do something like that, right?"Dipper defended himself rather awkwardly. "Because i'm so smart and manly and all. Ha ha ha" he continued his rather awkward lie.
"Just to prove it too you, look! Im watching Othello tournaments"he unnecessarily pointed to the program he switched to in a panic earlier. Isn't, isn't that chess? Mabel thought as she watched the program.
"Hey, I just came to say that you have a message from Wendy" Mabel announced.
"Jeez, if she needed to call me she could've just used my cellphone" Dipper sighed. Not only has he not gotten a call from his crush, but she apparently preferred to have his twin pass on the message.
"The message is about you cellphone. She says you left your phone on so I can hear you clearly from my living room. I think it'd be best if you went and go hang it up" Mabel reported as Dipper went in shock from the realization and embarrassment.
"ah, Is...that...so..." he forced himself to say, failing to hide his beet red face.
"CRAAAAAP!" was all that could be heard from the Mystery Shack as the embarrassed preteen shut off his phone
