Samurai Break
By: M14Mouse
Summary: Luan had no idea what to think of Spike…the whole samurai thing was kind of cool. Messing up his show…very much not.
Disclaimer: Don't own them.
Luan didn't know if he wanted to scratch his head or scream…possible both if that choice was given. Equipment was scattered everywhere on the floor. Tables and chairs were overturned. It was a complete mess. He had no clue what the kid was thinking.
What did this place ever do to him?
At least, the dude look kind of embarrassed on what he did.
He is just glad that the others weren't here…because they would have been pissed off. There would have been a bigger mess. That is saying something because dude, he has been in the center of too many monster attacks to know that.
"I am sorry…I didn't mean for it to happen. You see…I was practicing. This place was nice and dark. This is a perfect place to practice my samurai training."
Dude, did the guy say what he thought he said?
"….Samurai training?"
The spiky haired kid in his strange little outfit just nodded his head eagerly.
"My uncle is training me to be a samurai!"
Well….uhh….Think, dude. What can you say to him without getting yourself into a whole bunch of crazy? Hmmm….oh, what would his bro do?
He almost started laughing at that point.
Bro would totally give the kid a look and tell him to run laps or something. Maybe hit him over the head. But he was kinder than his bro.
"Dude, does your uncle know that you are training in a bar?"
"No…."
The kid looked liked a puppy that just lost its favorite toy. He sighed as he patted the kid on the shoulder.
"I may be a little stupid when it comes to the whole training thing but I think that is a bad idea."
"But Uncle Bulk said that I can't keep training in fields and the house! I have to have hands on training!"
Dude, what type of training is that kid doing? He wondered if his uncle even knew what he was doing. Perhaps, he was trying to keep the dude out of the trouble. That would make a whole lot of sense.
"I don't know much about this whole training deal. I do know that you are doing it wrong. Because…dude…practicing here would get you killed…you should practice…I don't know…in a park."
"And how would you know?"
"Well…there are trees and a lot of chances to sneak around on people."
The kid actually frowned and he could actually see the wheels turning in his head. It was kind of scary.
"I never thought about that idea before."
"It is a good idea. You and your uncle should try it sometimes."
Dude, his bro would be so proud of him. He didn't hit the kid or start screaming at him. The kid nodded his head eagerly.
"But right now…you are going to do some post-training stuff."
"What is that?"
"Clean up."
"That is the worse part," The kid said with a sigh. He started picking up the chairs on the floor.
"So, what is your name, dude?"
"Spike."
"The Name is Luan…or Lu. So, how long have you been training?" He said as he started picking some of the cups on the floor.
"About a year…"
"You have a long way to go, dude. It took my bro years to get where he is."
"Is your brother a samurai?"
"Nah…he is a kung fu master. Got the tattoo to prove it."
He heard a loud thwack behind him. He turned around to see Spike staring at him with wide eyes.
"…You are serious…? You aren't playing with me?"
"Dude…like a heart attack."
"This…this is so cool! You must tell me everything!"
Spike looked like that he gave Christmas to him early or something. Dude, his bro is so going to kill him when he found out.
IF he found out.
