4th of Heartfire, 4E201:

The march on Solitude was a success. General Tullius lies dead by my hand. Ulfric said it would make better for the song if I killed him instead of himself. Beforehand, however, Tullius said some… nerving things. How the Thalmor orchestrated this whole rebellion, how we were playing right into their hands. And it made me think…

Are we just puppets?

The things he said were un-nerving, I could tell you that; some of the things he was saying made since. With the Empire getting chased out of Skyrim, the Thalmor could easily come to our shores and attack. We also had to kill Rikke. Poor woman, she was a Nord like me, Ulfric, and Galmar, but she sided with the wrong side. We even gave her a chance to leave, but she said that she "also had a right to die for what she believed in". She fought like a true Nord, and died with a sword in her hand. Sovngarde will, hopefully, welcome her with open arms. If not, I'll go up there and make sure she does.

I've been having these… visions? Would you call them that, or are "dreams" a better description? Gah, I have no idea. They've been coming to me for the past month. It starts with me out in the Wilderness, running fast. Then, a dragon slams in front of me. Alduin. That bastard. Even in death he haunts my dreams. In my visions, he's speaking not in dragon tongue, but it regular Tamriellic. He says that his defeat was only a minor occurance, and he'll be back, he's sure of it. Then I wake up. I can't tell if this is future tense, or it will occur these next couple of days. I don't know. Neither Esbern nor Argnier knows what the visions mean. Could there be a second Dragonborn? Am I not the final one?

By the Nine, I need sleep. Sleep has eluded me for weeks now, and all I've been getting is a couple of hours each night. I've tried the healer at the Temple, everything. Nothing works. Camilla is worried about me, as well as Lydia, my faithful housecarl. I've been able to walk around Whiterun and talk to the townsfolk as well, since the dragons have disappeared and Skyrim has been liberated. Ulfric hasn't come running with a courier yet, so the Moot hasn't met yet. He said he wanted his two most trusted advisors at the Moot with him, so I couldn't say no.

That also means I can't go to the farm in Falkreath until the Moot convenes. Ulfric doesn't know of my farm near the border, and I hope he never does. Not saying that I hate the man, but he can be just a teeny bit pushy.

Wife is calling for me. Don't know how long it'll be before I right another entry.
