I wrote this parody of "Diamonds" because, you know, EVERYONE replaces "diamonds" with "Doitsus" when they hear the song, but nobody's ever rewritten the entire song before now.

It took all day, like 30 repeats of the original version and lots of grapes to finish.

Actually, I'm rather proud of it.

Enjoy~!

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Here's a story told by me

Ciao, my name's Italy

He and I

He and I

We're like Germans in the sky

I just really wanna be

More like Germany

When he holds me

I'm alive

We're like Germans in the sky

I knew that we'd become one right away

Oh right away

At first sight I fell

I hope that he is gay

My heart is dancing dokidoki

So shine bright

Tonight

You and I

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Don't hide

Nationwide

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Wurst rise through the universe

We eat pasta bolognese

Smell the sauce, won't ever fade

We're like Germans in the sky

I just really wanna be

Close to Germany

When he yells at me

I'm alive

We're like Germans in the sky

At first sight I fell

I hope that he is gay

My heart is racing dokidoki

So shine bright

Tonight

You and I

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Don't hide

Nationwide

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

So shine bright

Tonight

You and I

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Don't hide

Nationwide

We're beautiful like potatoes in the sky

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu

(...ooh...ohh...yeeah!)

Shine bright like a Doitsu

Shine bright like a Doitsu
