Kumo's Naruto Uzumaki

Prologue

Rash Decisions and Better Lives

Konohagakure no Sato – Nearly Six Years after the Kyūbi Attack

Konohagakure no Sato, the Village Hidden among the Leaves, to many people was one of the most beautiful places in the entire world. During the day, the many and differing trees would scintillate the sun's light into beautiful rays that streamed through to the ground. During the night, the many shadows would engulf nearly everything one second and the next allow streaming silver beams of light to settle upon the beautiful landscape. The beauty of the forests of Konohagakure no Sato doesn't merely end there.

Among all of varying plants lie many twisted dirt paths and gurgling crystal clear streams. As is custom in areas such as this, the plentiful plant life and clean water bring with it an assortment of animals as well. If one were to actually attempt to categorize all of the animals within the forest of Konohagakure no Sato, they would pleasantly find families of nearly every type of animal known, except a few that were known to only live in certain climates.

At this exact moment, upon one of the many twisting dirt paths and hiding within one of the many bushes, one would find a six year old blond headed boy. This boy has ocean blue eyes and three whisker-like birthmarks upon each cheek. He was dressed in black shorts and a blue shirt with a red swirling pattern on the back of it. Upon his forehead rested a pair of blue goggles.

"How many of them are there going to be? Is it too much to ask for them to just not patrol tonight?" The yellow haired boy thought to himself as he hid from yet another couple of ninja that were patrolling the dirt path that he was sneaking down.

The ninja weren't looking for people sneaking around as they were well within the protective walls of the village, they were merely walking and keeping eyes out for trouble makers, and as a result they missed the small yellow tuft of hair that was sticking out of the bush. The yellow haired boy's name was Naruto Uzumaki.

He was sneaking towards the main gate of the village and the reason that he was sneaking towards the main gate was that he had decided to run away from his home and village. Now, a lot of times young children attempt to run away from home for petty reasons such as not being allowed a certain privilege or attempting to escape some punishment. Obviously these children have intentions of returning after being gone for an undetermined time, but this particular young child had no intentions of ever returning. He actually had a true reason to want to run away.

The reason that he was running away was because of all of the life that he lived within the walls of this mighty village. He was never physically abused by any of the villagers or shinobi, but he was often subjected to the many varying forms of emotional abuse. Not only did nearly every single villager and shinobi glare at him with hate and malice, but he also had no family or friends to share his feelings with. He was alone.

Naruto Uzumaki was not only six years old, but he was also an orphan whose parents had been killed in the Kyūbi attack nearly six years ago. Now, normally orphans would either live in an orphanage or some family and clan would take pity upon them and adopt them. However, Naruto's case was so far from the norm and it appeared that no one truly cared about that.

For the first four years of his life he had actually lived in the local monastery that housed many children that had lost their families from varying incidents, namely among those incidents was the Kyūbi attack. There were originally hundreds of children that had lost their families to the nine tailed fox and had been taken in by the monastery, however, nearly half of those children were adopted by several of the minor clans and given a family.

So for those first four years, Naruto lived among children his age and older, but he had been unable to make any friends. The sad reason for this was that the local monks treated him with open hate and glares and the children had quickly learned to steer clear of him in fear of the same treatment. So he lived a bleak and depressing existence of sleeping, eating, and crying.

Until one day some old man whom wore pure white silk clothing and wore some weird hat came by and glimpsed the blond haired boy allowing tears to stream down from his ocean blue eyes onto his ruddy cheeks. He had just fall from a large branch that he had been hanging from to try and get other people's attention and he had scraped a good portion of his body.

The old man had silently picked him up and had taken him to a hospital where he was sat in front of a doctor. Unbeknownst to him, the doctors and the old man with the weird hat were shocked to see that all of his small scrapes had miraculously healed in the short time since he had acquired them.

After that, the old man had taken him to an office area that had four pictures upon one wall and a large window that looked out upon the village from behind an old and elegant looking desk. The old man had walked over to the third picture and had taken it down to reveal an elegant design of kanji. He had placed his hand upon it and it had seemed to melt into the wall to reveal a small alcove with several scrolls and pouches.

Without realizing what it was he was witnessing at the time, Naruto had just been given his first glimpse into the elegant and powerful art of fūinjutsu. After taking a small pouch from the alcove, the wall reformed and the kanji briefly glowed an eerie blue before fading back to its original color. The old man replaced the picture and he led Naruto out of the office and to an old looking building.

He had briefly talked to a man who seemed to take care of the building before leading Naruto up a flight of stairs and inside a very dusty apartment. Obviously, it had been a very long time since someone had lived there. The old man had sat down upon the moth eaten sofa in the living area of the apartment before sneezing violently from the large cloud of dust that had billowed up.

It was then that Naruto learned a great many things. The old man had asked him to sit next to him and had gone onto introduce himself. The old man was the Sandaime Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi. He had told him that his parents had died in the Kyūbi attack and that it was his responsibility as the Hokage to see to his welfare and so he would be staying in this apartment from now on. He had talked for several hours explaining several things to the boy and attempting to teach him how to take care of himself. Hiruzen finally left late into the evening and Naruto had gone to the bedroom of the apartment, his mind swirling from all of the information he had just been given.

That night, a very confused and extremely depressed four year old boy had lain down upon a musty bed and had cried himself to sleep. He would do the same thing for many months to come for he still didn't know who his parents were, but he knew that they were dead and that they would never come back for him. He now knew that he would never have a family to love him and for him to love.

From there his life had gotten exceedingly worse. Not only was he evicted from the apartment that he had been given by the Hokage, but after the old man got him another one, he had been evicted again within a month. So on and so on this went, never ending and never changing. Also, now that he had to take care of himself since he lived alone he had to buy his own clothes and food. Compared to the other things he had been forced to endure, having to buy your own food and clothes normally wouldn't be that bad, but for him it was terrible.

You see, in the quest for edible food and clothing, Naruto had been subjected to some of the more hateful citizens of Konohagakure no Sato. These people not only denied him entry to their stores, but they would throw him out on his butt whenever he attempted to get in. All of these occurrences compounded to make a small boy go hungry for days at a time and have to wear ratty clothes that barely stayed upon his body.

Now, there is of course only so much of things like this that a person can take, before they either snap and go insane or they strike back. In Naruto's case, after a few months of this treatment, he decided to get even with the populace of Konohagakure no Sato. All of the shops that denied him service were beset by a trickster from hell.

His pranks in and of themselves weren't really all that bad, since he used them mainly as a distraction to take food and clothes from the stores that had denied service. The first few times, he was caught by some ninja with gravity defying grey hair and a dog mask and was taken in front of the Hokage for a conversation about how it was wrong to steal and that he shouldn't prank the villagers.

After these first few discussions, Naruto had taken it upon himself to learn how to not only avoid detection, but also how to avoid capture if he was caught in the act. Finally, he had food and clothes, but his life was still a living hell. It had taken nearly two years of this before he finally snapped and had decided to rid Konohagakure no Sato of his presence.

All of his varying experiences combined with a particularly drunk villager telling him that nobody wanted him in this village and that everyone would be better off if he would just leave made his mind start to think of an idea, a very crazy idea. Once this idea had planted itself into his brain, he couldn't get it out and the more he thought about it, the more he was inclined to go through with it. This idea was an escape attempt from his living hell. He was going to run away.

After about thirty more minutes of sneaking and hiding, Naruto finally came upon the main gates. Even though he was young, he was smart enough to know that there was no way that he would make it away from the village if the gate guards saw him leave. He didn't know how he knew, he just did. In preparation for this, the young blond boy bought a few things that he could use for a diversion, and hopefully it would be enough to distract them long enough for him to sneak out.

Before he could set up his diversion, Naruto suddenly was suddenly beset with an extreme dose of self-doubt. However, his mind procured the image of the drunken villager telling him that no one wanted him and suddenly he found the strength to push on. Cold cerulean blue eyes burned with determination as he buried his doubt deep within himself.

Dashing out of his hiding space for a few seconds, the boy pulled the things he had bought as a diversion out of his pack and placed them around a bend in the path that led to the guard station. The package was a large number of fireworks that were advertised to go off with a big boom and he smiled as he remembered his test from earlier. After he had stolen the needed fireworks, he had lit several of the remaining fireworks and had watched with wide eyes at the explosion of bright lights that had quickly ensued.

Quickly lighting a few of the fireworks that had a larger fuse, the boy went back into the bushes and made his way as quietly as he could to the bushes in front of the gate. Naruto waited with bated breath for the fireworks to go off and he had just begun to worry that they weren't going to when a loud bang came from the area that he had left the fireworks. The first bang was followed by several other, larger and smaller bangs, and the two guard ninja quickly left their station to investigate the source of the sounds.

Quickly, before any of the ninja could return and stop him, he ran out the gate and took off into the forest. As he ran through the forest as fast as his little legs would carry him, he began to tear up and sob. He was finally free from all of the hateful villagers. He would never have to endure their hateful glares or listen to their curses ever again.

"I am never going to go back there. I never want to be treated like that ever again." Naruto yelled out loud, his voice cracking from the raw emotions he was feeling.

He ran for nearly fifteen minutes before he couldn't run anymore and started walking for a while. After walking for nearly 30 minutes, he decided to just sit down on the ground and rest for a while. His raging emotions had taken a lot out of his small body and he was extremely tired. Naruto planned to rest for merely a few minutes before setting out again, however, within minutes of sitting down against a tree Naruto was fast asleep. He was only six years old after all.

He slept for nearly four hours before he finally woke up. Ruffling through the small bag that he had taken with him, he grabbed some of the food that he had stolen and stored within. Unfortunately, the majority of the food that he had bought was ramen, as he hadn't thought about not being able to boil water to make the cheap food. Again, he was only six years old.

He had also brought a few packages of crackers and chips and so he opened one of them and began to munch on it. After finishing the bag of chips, Naruto stood up and stretched. Once he was finished stretching, he looked around him and blinked slowly. He quickly realized that he couldn't even remember which way he had come from, but he put that thought out of his mind since he had no intentions of going back to Konohagakure no Sato.

Thinking about it, he didn't even know where he wanted to go or how to get there, and for the first time since leaving he was again being beset with doubts. He began to worry that he wouldn't have enough food and water and that he would get lost out in the forest. He realized for the first time that his six year old mind didn't think all of this through properly and he was suddenly beset with only one want and desire. All he wanted was to go back to the village and slink into his rundown apartment and curl up in his musty bed.

However, like he realized earlier, he couldn't remember which way he had come from. All of a sudden he fell to his knees as his body was wracked with extremely powerful sobs. He sat there for nearly thirty minutes before he finally cried himself out of tears. He was so scared about what would happen to him, lost out in this forest all by himself.

After a little while longer, Naruto got back to his feet and picked a direction and started walking that way. He might not know which way he had come from, but at the very least he hoped that he could walk in the general direction and be found by somebody. Oh how he wished that the kind old Hokage would just appear and show him the way home like he had done so many times before.

The next few days were variations of the first, starting with him waking up with dried tear streaks after a night of crying himself to sleep. After a full day of walking mindlessly in any direction, and then crying in fear for a while before finding the ability to stand up and walk some more, he would lie back down and cry himself to sleep again. Naruto was constantly beside himself with fright. No matter how much he walked, he never seemed to find anybody else, nor did he find any sign that he was even close to Konohagakure no Sato. To make matters worse, he had finally ran out of his edible food.

Finally, a day after he ran out of food, he had walked into a clearing and collapsed. He could only go so long without food and it seemed that his little body had found its limit. The last thing he saw and heard before unconsciousness claimed him was a bird singing as it took to the sky in flight. It was such a beautiful song that the bird sang and he smiled slightly before the lights in his eyes went out. He never noticed the muscular man with dark skin who was just sitting by a stream rapping and writing in a little notebook.

A dark skinned man was sitting down on the trunk of a tree that had fallen down probably over fifty years ago and had started slowly rotting away. He had a small notebook in one hand and a pencil in the other. He was rapping to himself and waving his hands around in a weird fashion. After he rapped a line that he found to be good he would take his pencil and write furiously in his little notebook.

"Yo, Bro, the dude went down, and then I put him in the ground, oh yeah."Killer B started scribbling furiously in his notebook, completely unaware that his rhymes only sounded good to himself and to nobody else.

When he was finished he put it away and started to gather up his supplies and set out again. He had just finished his mission that A, his brother and the Raikage of Kumogakure no Sato, had given him and he wanted to get home as fast as he could. He missed the cold mountain air so much. He had to admit that the forests surrounding Konohagakure no Sato were beautiful beyond compare, but the air was just too thick in these areas for his taste.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw a blur of orange and yellow, and he reacted instantly by pulling two of his seven swords out of their sheaths. He sheathed his blades when he saw the boy collapse onto the ground seconds after walking into the clearing. He slowly walked over to the boy on the ground and poked him with his foot. After all, you can't be too careful, for he knew just how powerful little runts could be. He had been one once after all.

When the boy didn't react, B slowly knelt down and put his hand to the boy's neck to check for a pulse. Feeling a slow and steady pulse, B looked the boy over from head to toe, noticing immediately the Uzumaki swirl pattern on the boys t-shirt and the many tears in the boys shorts.

"Boy, you look like you lost your shine. Lucky you, I know how to make you all fine!" Bee rapped aloud while waving his arms again.

In a show of his love of rhymes above all other things, he hurriedly grabbed his notebook and pencil to write down his latest line before doing anything else. After all, it would be a crime and a shame if he allowed a single good rhyme, in his opinion, to go to waste. A crime he considered to be punishable by an extended enka training session. It escaped his grasp that punishments shouldn't bring joy.

Placing his hands above the boy's chest, his hands started to glow an eerie shade of green as he performed a medical jutsu that would tell him what was wrong with the boy. He allowed a frown to mar his features as he learned that the blond boy was suffering from chakra exhaustion and malnourishment.

He wasn't a medic in any means, but he knew a few things, luckily one of which was how to replenish chakra. Slowly, Bee started to pump a little of his own chakra into Naruto's chakra network. He had to do this slowly so that his chakra could coax the boy's coils to loosen up. If he pumped his own chakra into the boy too fast, the coils would tighten even more than they are now and that could prove fatal for the boy.

After only a few seconds of pumping chakra into the boy, a seal started to appear on the boys stomach and B immediately stood up and backed away from the boy, a little uneasy as he contemplated the seal. He wasn't a seal master by any means, but he could still make an educated guess as to what that seal was since it was kind of similar to one that he had. He had the Tekko Fuin or Iron Armor Seal, which was a containment seal used to seal away a tailed beast and create a jinchuriki.

"Gyuki, Mr. Eight, does that boy hold who I think he does behind a sealing gate?"B rapped in his mind to his ever constant companion, the Hachibi, while waving his arms in front of himself.

"Yes, and quit that nonsense drivel you call rapping." Gyuki replied with a sigh before wondering to himself for like the ten millionth time why he had to get stuck with the weird Jinchuriki.

"Well I'll be damned Mr. Eight. I never thought that I would meet the person who held Mr. Nine behind a big metal gate."B rapped in his mind, completely oblivious to the mental sigh that his partner sent over their link because of his rapping.

B finally noticed that the seal had receded from sight. Bending down again, he got back to work slowly pushing his chakra into the boy. After he had decided that he had given the boy enough chakra to avoid a very bad case of chakra exhaustion, he sat down and thought about what had just dropped into his lap. It wasn't every day that you met a fellow jinchuriki.

After a few minutes of thinking about what he should do and what might come from said actions, Bee looked over at the boy and saw a small smile on the boy's sleeping face. Bee couldn't help but allow a small smile touch his own face and he quickly decided to stay here for the rest of the night instead of setting out like he had originally planned. He pulled out his sleeping bag and laid the boy down in it. Bee sat back down on the decaying tree and started chewing on his pencil. He had a lot to think about tonight.

Forests Outside of Konohagakure no Sato – Next Day

It was midafternoon the next day by the time Naruto woke up. The first thing Naruto noticed as he woke up was that he was hungry, very hungry, and his stomach let the world know his situation with a loud gurgling growl. Groaning in discomfort, Naruto opened his eyes, only to come face to face with a plate of steaming rice and spiced chicken.

He looked from the plate to the man who was proffering it to him and then back to the plate. Faster than Killer Bee thought possible, Naruto snatched the plate out of his hands and started shoveling it down. A large chuckle escaped Killer Bee's mouth as he watched Naruto eat. The boy could certainly eat fast.

"The boy might be lighter than a sheet, but a lot of food this squirt can eat." He rapped to himself as Naruto finished the plate and looked at him with eyes as big as saucers, silently pleading for more.

Killer Bee chuckled again as he scooped more rice and chicken onto Naruto's plate. While the boy was finishing his second plate, Killer Bee had whipped out his notebook and had quickly jotted down his latest rhyme. After Naruto finished the second plate, he suddenly came to his senses and realized how rude he had been.

"Thank you, mister eh."Naruto said with a pause at the end, realizing for the first time that he had no clue exactly who he had just accepted food from.

His mind was suddenly beset with the memory of his runaway and his mood quickly soured when he recalled the last few days. He thought back to the events that had brought him here and took a moment to look over the dark stranger in front of him. The man was tall, somewhere around six feet, and was the most muscular man he had ever seen.

He wore a white vest of sorts that left one shoulder completely bare. He wore white fingerless gloves and he had seven blades on his back. He gawked at the number of blades he had because he had never seen someone care around that many swords before. After a few moments of staring at the blades, he looked up at Killer Bee's face and noticed for the first time the hitai-ate on his forehead.

He didn't recognize the symbol on the hitai-ate, but he knew one thing for sure, it wasn't a Konoha hitai-ate. This was the first foreign shinobi that he had ever met. As he continued to ogle at him, Killer Bee decided to introduce himself.

"The name is Killer Bee, the most awesome ninja you'll ever see, wheee." Bee rapped, while waving his arms and punching the air with one of his fists at the end.

"Now, now, I told you my name, now you must do the same?" Bee rapped to a stunned Naruto that was still ogling him.

"Um, N-Naruto Uzumaki," Naruto squeaked out after he realized that he had been staring at the strange ninja in front of him for nearly a minute after he had asked for his name.

He had been around a lot of different people within the village walls of Konohagakure no Sato. Villagers and ninja, even a few travelling salesman, and all of these people had their little quirks. They ranged from things like their clothing that they wore to the food that they ate. However, he had never heard a person talk like this.

"No, nononono, that ain't how it's done, so watch me. You should say something like, I'm Naruto Uzumaki, the most awesome little gaki!" Bee rapped watching the boy's shocked expression turn into annoyance.

"Hey, I ain't no gaki, I'm just a little short for my age is all." Naruto said with a huff, he was a just a tad little bit sensitive about his height after all.

Laughing to himself at the boy's antics, Bee decided that he wanted to get a few questions answered. It would help him make some decisions after all. "Hey gaki, where do you call home and what are you doing out here all alone?"

Naruto allowed a frown to settle on his face as he again thought about his runaway and took a moment to decide whether or not he should tell Bee where he was from and why he was out here, but after a few minutes couldn't come up with a reason not to. "Um, I'm from Konoha, and I, um, k-kinda ran away." Naruto said the last in a mumble.

Figuring he knew the answer already, and that the boy probably wouldn't want to talk about it, he decided to leave the subject of his reason for wanting to run away alone and to ask the boy the question that he had finally decided upon last night. "Hey gaki, you want to come with me back to Kumogakure no Sato?"

Naruto sat there and looked like he was wrestling with something huge so Killer Bee decided to give him a few minutes to think it over and went over to the frying pan that he had cooked their lunch in. Naruto was thinking to himself about whether or not he actually wanted to go to another village anymore. After all of the doubts that he had experienced while wandering the forest, he couldn't help but wonder if things would be better away from Konoha or if he should return to his village. Then that memory of the drunken villager surfaced again and he quickly made his mind up.

"Hey gaki, you still hungry?" Bee asked as he picked up the pan of rice and chicken right as Naruto was going to give him his answer.

"I thought I told you my name was Naruto Uzumaki, not gaki." Naruto said as he proffered the plate so that Killer Bee could dish out some more and the older man ranted again about how he should rap his answers instead of just saying them.

Naruto was learning from firsthand experience the dangers of peer pressure, because if he wasn't careful, he would end up rapping in no time. After finishing his food, he gave his answer to Killer Bee. Killer Bee went about rolling up the sleeping bag and putting out the fire while Naruto finished his food. By the time that Naruto was finished, everything had been put up and Bee was ready to set out. Kneeling on the ground, Killer Bee looked at Naruto and told him to climb onto his back.

Killer Bee explained that they would be able get to Kumogakure no Sato faster this way and Naruto didn't feel like arguing since he still felt completely exhausted. Naruto clambered up onto Bee's back and they took to the trees at a pace that only a few ninja could keep up with. Bee just absolutely loved lightning chakra.

Kumogakure no Sato – Nearly a Week Later

After signing in at the gate, Bee made a b-line (pun completely intended) for the Raikage's office. Jumping from roof to roof with a wide-eyed Naruto on his back, Killer Bee finally arrived at the Raikage's office. He knelt down so that Naruto could clamber down from his back. Naruto looked wide-eyed at all of the buildings set into the mountain, astonishment showing in those deep cerulean blue eyes of his.

Growing up in Konohagakure no Sato, he was used to buildings being made out of the abundant supply of wood his village had at their exposal. As such, it was a shock to him to see not a single building made out of wood. Instead, every building was made out of some kind of stone and no two buildings looked the same. Eyes as wide as saucers and completely absorbed in his observation of the surrounding buildings, he jerked backwards and fell on his butt when Killer Bee suddenly chuckled after turning his head around and seeing the boy's eyes.

"Owww, that hurt."Naruto said while massaging his butt, causing Bee to have a fit of chuckles.

Helping him to his feet, Bee led Naruto into a very large building that he said was the Raikage's office. They walked up several flights of stairs before they finally entered a room where a woman was sitting at a desk going through papers. Bee went up to the dark skinned woman that he called Mabui and told her they were here to see the Raikage.

After going into tell the Raikage that Killer Bee had returned, she ushered them into the Raikage's office and closed the door behind them. Naruto's eyes became the size of saucers once again as he looked at the Raikage. The Raikage was a dark skinned man with white hair slicked back on his head and a small white mustache. He was wearing a white cloak opened up without a shirt underneath it and a pair of black pants. He had a belt on that was adorned with a large gold buckle.

"And I thought that Killer Bee was buff." Naruto thought to himself as Killer Bee gave his report.

The Raikage's body was the purest example of muscle. Naruto figured there wasn't an ounce of fat on the man and he could easily figure out why that was. All around the office were sets of different muscle building machines. He also counted nearly twenty dumbbells and barbells.

After Killer Bee finished his report, he motioned for Naruto to step up. Killer Bee and Naruto both had looks of shock and disbelief cross their faces at what the Raikage said the moment he laid eyes upon Naruto. "Bee, tell me something. Why, in the name of the Shinigami himself did you bring the Yondaime Hokage's brat here to Kumogakure no Sato?"

After these words were spoken by A, you could have heard a pen drop in the stunned silence that followed. Of course, that is until A felt the need to ask his question once again since no answer seemed forthcoming.

"Answer me Bee, why did you bring that gaki to my village?" After these words were once again yelled at him, Killer Bee took a good long look at Naruto and berated himself for not seeing the similarities in the boy and the late hokage.

When he thought back to the brief encounter that he and his brother had with the man in the third shinobi world war, he could easily see the similarities between the two. Naruto, on the other hand, was only stunned silent for a moment. Once his little brain caught up with what was said, he first yelled out that he wasn't a gaki and that he was tired of buff dudes saying he was, and then he started laughing hysterically.

"Hahaha, the buff dude thinks I'm the Yondaime's son, hahaha, too funny." Naruto said in between the fits of hysterical laughter he was experiencing.

Thinking that the Raikage was only joking and expecting a grin to pop onto the Raikage's face at any time and for him to start laughing at the joke, Naruto started to get an uneasy feeling in his stomach as the Raikage and Killer Bee just looked at him, as serious as can be.

"Seriously, you've gotta be kidding me here." Naruto said, this time there was a note of uncertainty in his voice and he had quit laughing.

"To think, the gaki probably doesn't know what he holds behind a gate, and yet he still hand to suffer all of that hate. What's even worse, is it was his pops that gave him that curse." Killer Bee thought to himself as he started to explain to the Raikage how he had found the squirt.

While Killer Bee explained everything to the Raikage, Naruto tried to picture himself next to the Yondaime and thought to himself that they did look somewhat similar. "But, if the Yondaime were my father, Jiji would have known that, wouldn't he?" Naruto thought to himself, not believing the the kind old hokage would have lied to him when he said that he didn't know whom his parents were after having told him that they had died in the Kyūbi attack.

Then Naruto began to remember that when he asked Jiji what his parent's names were, the kind old man had turned away before he answered, and his voice had become rather weak when he answered him. "Damn it Bee, enough with the rhymes. Are you telling me that you think that this boy is the Kyūbi's jinchuriki as well?" Naruto heard the Raikage shout at Killer Bee, dragging him out of his personal thoughts.

Before Killer Bee could say anything else, Naruto spoke in a small voice; still shocked and unbelieving that he might be the son of the Yondaime. "What is a jinchuriki or whatever you just called me and what do I have to do with the Kyūbi?" Naruto asked as his mind flashed back to the villagers, about how they had sometimes called him a demon and said that he killed their loved ones.

"Boy oh boy, you mean to tell me that Konoha didn't even tell the boy what he was?" Shouted an astonished Raikage, knowing how the villagers would have treated him since he had seen the same treatment given to two Hachibi jinchuriki before his younger brother had become the jinchuriki and had changed everyone's opinion on the matter.

"How cruel, treating him like trash, and leaving him to wonder why he was treated that way." The Raikage thought as he started to see tears forming in the corners of the boy's eyes.

All of a sudden, Naruto felt Killer Bee wrap him into a tight hug, and like a dam flooding a lake, the tears began to cascade down Naruto's cheeks. Looking over his shoulder, Killer Bee told the Raikage that he was going to take Naruto home with him, get him situated and asleep and then he would come back and finish the report he was giving.

After nodding his acceptance, the Raikage watched as Killer Bee picked the little squirt up and carried him away. After seeing how Bee treated the boy, even without hearing the rest of Killer Bee's report, he knew that Killer Bee had already decided to take Naruto in and train him. It was just the way his little brother was.

Naruto was still thinking to himself about everything that had been said in that office and everything that it had made him think about while Killer Bee jumped from house to house on his way to his apartment. Finally they stopped on the roof of an apartment complex and Killer Bee pressed his palm to a door. Suddenly the door began to glow as an elegant array of kanji appeared for a few seconds before disappearing again.

Once the door stopped glowing, Killer Bee opened it and walked in only to be tackled back out, twisting at the last to avoid falling on top of Naruto. Dazed from the second impact that day with the ground, Naruto shook his head and finally noticed a young girl with blonde hair that was tied in a ponytail that reached the small of her back, hugging tightly on to Killer Bee's leg.

"Bee, Bee, your home, oh I missed you." The obviously excited blonde squeaked as Killer Bee grabbed her and threw her into the air only to catch her before she landed.

Finally, noticing Naruto for the first time, and with all of the curiousness of a six year old and none of their usual shyness, Yugito went up to him and asked him for his name.

"Hi, um, I'm N-Naruto, um, Naruto Uzumaki." Always shy and nervous around other people and never good with introductions, Naruto looked down to the ground, embarrassed that he couldn't string words together to make a decent introduction.

"Hi, Naruto, I'm Yugito Nii, nice to meet you." Yugito said as Naruto lifted his gaze from the ground and settled it back on her.

"Well, now that you both have met, we need to get the little gaki all set." Bee rapped and received an indignant cry regarding buff people and their inability to stop calling him short before he and Yugito showed him to his room.

Okay, so to all of you whom are my faithful readers that stuck with me through the last month, I am sending you a very heartfelt thank you. Now, not everything that I had written before will change, and in some of the stories, you won't actually notice any storyline changes until a little further in the chapters. I am so glad that you stuck with me and decided to keep reading my stories. I will apologize in advance for how long it takes me to put out chapters, but writing is not my day job, yet. Also, I am going to write a chapter for each of my stories and post all of them at the same time. I have five stories going and that means that I'll be splitting my writing time between them all. However, you have stuck with me this long, and if my stories are good enough, hopefully you'll stick with me through this as well. Also, I want to send a big thank you to PoeticFire for being an awesome beta for my story.
